Basis of preparing the financial statements |
The directors have determined that the service charge income and expenditure should no longer be reflected in the financial statements as they do not constitute Company income and expenses. Consequently, no entries have been recorded in the current period and the balances formerly relating to the service charge have been written off. |
The company was dormant throughout the current year and previous year. |
Taxation |
The company is a mutually trading enterprise and does not fall within the scope of corporation tax. |
Freehold property |
Although the company owns the freehold to the property, the costs relating to the purchase of the property has been borne by the members. The purchase cost of the freehold property is therefore not reflected in these financial statements. |
Company status |
The Company owns and manages the freehold property situated at 3 Atherfold Road, London. Service charges are collected and expenses paid through a designated client account. Reserve account funds are held in trust by the managing agent on behalf of the leaseholders. |
