COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

NORTH WALES BLUES AND SOUL FESTIVAL COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 11873758 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2024

Company activities and impact

NWBSF exists to organise and run a boutique music festival. We aim to engage our local community in producing an annual event that features live music and showcases North Wales as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The event organised for 2023 was cancelled following unusually slow ticket sales and some uncertainties about the venue. We think economic conditions at the time may have impacted discretionary spending and reduced ticket sales. Our team was slightly bigger than previous years and (although we were not supported financially) local businesses and the Town Council provided encouragement.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are festival goers, our local community, and local businesses. Stakeholders were involved in planning the event even though it did not run.

Directors' remuneration

No remuneration was received

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
