Compliance with accounting standards

Accounting convention
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets.
Presentation currency
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Revenue
Revenue, described as turnover is the value of services, net of VAT and discounts, provided to customers during the year.
Pension costs
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to the profit and loss account in the period to which they relate.
Tangible fixed assets and depreciation
