Charitable Donations
This financial year featured the launch of Remembering Leopards. Our Turnover, including Kickstarter funds, book, print, ticket & auction sales and sponsorships, amounted to £416,105 (2023: £326,380), which resulted in a gross profit of £256,048 (2023: £213,604) after Cost of Sales, at a slightly lower gross profit margin of 62% (2023: 65%), mainly the resulted of increased costs of printing.
In a continued challenging and inflationary year our Administrative Costs including marketing & websites, accounting & professional fees, bank & kickstarter fees, travel (including travel associated ahead of the production of the Remembering Tiger book in 2024), IT and administrative staff costs increased to £152,742 (2023: £120,589) meaning we were delighted to be able to make donations of £98,174 (2023: £99,776) to conservation projects, representing 94% of net profit. The net profit before tax for the year of £6,233 compares to a deficit in 2023 of £5,692, leaving the business with small and manageable overall net liability at 29 February 2024 of £2,720 (net liability 2023: £8,953).
In what was a further challenging year with inflationary and cost of living pressures, I am delighted with the success of the Remembering Leopards project and that we have again been able to help so many conservation projects, meaning that this year saw our aggregate donations to conversation projects since the Remembering Wildlife series began exceed £1.1 million. Of course, it would not be possible without the support and contributions from our many supporters to all of whom I am truly grateful.

This report has been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies entitled to the small companies' exemption.
