Over the past year, Family and Therapy has been proud to provide counseling and play therapy services to individuals as young as 3 years old, supporting their emotional and mental well-being. These services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, using evidence-based approaches that foster resilience, trust, and positive developmental outcomes. Our team focuses on creating safe and nurturing environments for clients to express their emotions, work through challenges, and build critical coping skills. For our younger clients, play therapy has been especially effective in helping them process complex feelings and develop secure relationships. We are committed to continuing our work to support individuals and families, ensuring that they have access to the therapeutic tools they need to thrive.
Our stakeholders include clients (individuals and families accessing our services), local authorities, educational institutions, fostering agencies, healthcare providers, community organisations, and our internal staff team. We actively engage with stakeholders to ensure our services meet their needs and expectations. The following consultation methods have been undertaken 1. Clients and Families: Regular feedback questionnaires following therapy sessions to measure satisfaction and outcomes. Informal conversations with clients and families to understand their evolving needs. 2. Local Authorities and Agencies: Scheduled meetings and collaborative reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and address local community needs. Data sharing (appropriately anonymised) to track progress and evaluate impact. 3. Educational Institutions: Partnership with schools to address pupils' emotional and behavioural challenges. Workshops delivered to teaching staff to support children’s mental health and wellbeing. 4. Internal Staff: Regular team meetings and supervision sessions to gather insights on service delivery and identify areas for improvement. Anonymous staff surveys to assess workplace satisfaction and support requirements.
