No provision has been made for any potential compensation, or consequential loss claim not notified to the company. The company is not aware of any claims that have been incurred but not reported. |
7. | RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES |
NFU of England and Wales is one of three members of the Pig Disease Eradication Fund Ltd, but has no financial interest owing to the restriction on the use of the funds. In the year under review there was a charge of £2,400 (2023 - £2,400) made by the NFU for administration services provided. |
8. | SHARE CAPITAL |
The company is a company limited by guarantee not having a share capital. In the event of a winding up, each member is required to contribute a sum not exceeding £1 towards a settlement of the company's liabilities. |
Under its Articles of Association, if under winding up there remains any assets after satisfaction of all liabilities, then these shall be transferred to an institution having similar objectives to the company and not distributed amongst the members of the company. |

The following reproduces the text of the report prepared for the directors in respect of the company's annual unaudited financial statements. In accordance with the Companies Act 2006, the company is only required to file a Balance Sheet. Readers are cautioned that the Income Statement and certain other primary statements and the Report of the Directors are not required to be filed with the Registrar of Companies. |
In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of The Pig Disease Eradication Fund Limited for the year ended 31 March 2024 which comprise the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and the related notes from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. |
