The members present their report with the financial statements of the LLP for the period 1 June 2023 to 5 April 2024. |
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY |
The principal activity of the LLP in the period under review was that of wedding venue and hotel. |
DESIGNATED MEMBERS |
The designated members during the period under review were: |
RESULTS FOR THE PERIOD AND ALLOCATION TO MEMBERS |
The loss for the period before members' remuneration and profit shares was £39,717 (2023 - £27,790 profit). |
MEMBERS' INTERESTS |
The members' drawing policy allows each member to draw a proportion of their profit share, subject to the cash requirements of the business. |
A member's capital requirement is linked to their share of profit and the financing requirement of the limited liability partnership.There is no opportunity for appreciation of the capital subscribed. Just as incoming members introduce their capital at "par", so the retiring members are repaid their capital at "par". |

In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006 as applied to LLPs by the Limited Liability Partnerships (Accounts and Audit) (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2008, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Cleatham Hall Hotel LLP for the period ended 5 April 2024 which comprise the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and the related notes from the LLP's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. |
As a practising member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), we are subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed within the ICAEW's regulations and guidance at http://www.icaew.com/en/membership/regulations-standards-and-guidance. |
This report is made solely to the members of Cleatham Hall Hotel LLP, as a body, in accordance with our terms of engagement. 1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |

Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |

Government grants |
Government grants are recognised in profit or loss on a systematic basis over the periods in which the entity recognises expenses for the related costs for which the grants are intended to compensate. |

Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items. |
Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
The LLP operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the LLP's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. |
Members' participating interests |
Members' participation rights are the rights of a member against the LLP that arise under the members' agreement (for example, in respect of amounts subscribed or otherwise contributed remuneration and profits). |
Members' participation rights in the earnings or assets of the LLP are analysed between those that are, from the LLP's perspective, either a financial liability or equity, in accordance with section 22 of FRS 102. A member's participation rights including amounts subscribed or otherwise contributed by members, for example members' capital, are classed as liabilities unless the LLP has an unconditional right to refuse payment to members, in which case they are classified as equity. |
All amounts due to members that are classified as liabilities are presented within 'Loans and other debts due to members'. Undivided amounts that are classified as equity are shown within ‘Members' other interests’. |
Once an unavoidable obligation has been created in favour of members through allocation of profits or other means, any undrawn profits remaining at the reporting date are shown as ‘Loans and other debts due to members’ to the extent they exceed debts due from a specific member. |

At the year end, there is a grant that was received from the Regional Growth Fund and utilised for leasehold improvements. It is being released to the profit and loss account over 50 years in line with the term of the lease. The amount at the year end is £50,338 (2023 £52,876) |
