The company runs marine mammal research, education and awareness programmes for the local Sussex community. Within the last year, the company has: - provided workshops to over 200 school children, educating them about their local marine environment and increasing their connection to their local coastline. - Provided data to local stakeholders, students and other NGOs researching marine mammals. - Taken 80 students to their local beach for discovery days. - Provided engagement on social media through videos, talks and quizzes for those unable to access the beach, allowing them to engage in their local marine environment. - Provided volunteering opportunities to local people wishing to get involved in marine mammal research, creating communities of citizen scientists along the Sussex Coast.
No consultation with stakeholders
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £26,287. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director's loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
