Management Consulting Bridging Aquatics will work in partnership with organisations such as national governing bodies, lifesaving authorities, government agencies, operators, aquatic brands, local authorities, and swimming bodies to offer specialist strategy and management consultancy services to directly impact and reduce the number of drownings in the African, Caribbean, and Asian communities within the UK and Ireland. Training and Development Programs Through the design and delivery of development aquatic programs, we will ensure we work towards changing the narrative and re-engaging disenfranchised African, Caribbean, and Asian communities. Through collaboration, research, and community engagement Bridging Aquatics will aim to design training and development programs that are suitable for corporate organizations, governing bodies, local authorities, and aquatic brands. This will bridge the gap with our community in ensuring they are empowered to be involved and create change within the industry. Research 19% of the population living within 1km of waterways are of African, Caribbean, and Asian heritage, significantly higher than the national average of 14% in England and Wales. Bridging Aquatics will be researching water safety knowledge, sports and participation, and the aquatic workforce, and how these areas directly impact our community. With findings from the commissioned research recommendations and proposed solutions will be put forward to strategic partners to reduce the risk of drowning within our community. We will be tackling the fundamental barriers currently affecting our community of inequality, access, visibility, inclusion, and delivery. This will empower our community to be engaged within the world of aquatics and in turn ensure they gain a vital life skill.
