Devenishgirl Bakery is a multi-award winning social enterprise connecting individuals, employees, and communities to a range of mental health and wellbeing support. We seek to achieve this through the provision of The Connect course, Connect cooking classes, Connect baking classes, and wellbeing workshops. Our efforts to support individuals and communities include partnering with other social enterprises to deliver food parcels within specific area, thus allowing us to provide hundreds of families with much needed support. We have also previously partnered with Choir to provide a phone befriending service to its' members. Additionally, we have been able to deliver successful Connect wellbeing courses which have offered a range of non-medical interventions to support a number of women with their mental health and wellbeing.
Throughout delivery of our work, we undertake regular review sessions with our stakeholders to enable us to better support participants in the future. This has primarily included review sessions with the women on the Connect course as we have been working directly with them.
