Be-Unique Social CIC has been actively delivering a variety of social media workshops during the financial year. Our primary focus is to empower local non-profit organisations by equipping them with the skills to effectively use social media to reach their target audiences and provide tangible evidence of their impact for stakeholders. We have facilitated Instagram training sessions, Reels masterclasses, and video editing workshops, all aimed at enhancing the participants' confidence and creativity in managing their own platforms. These workshops have enabled organisations to create engaging content, such as Reels, to showcase their achievements, promote their services, and extend their reach to audiences beyond traditional communication channels. The skills gained from our training have not only improved their marketing efforts but also provided tools to support funding bids, utilising videos created during the workshops to demonstrate their impact. Participants have reported increased confidence in promoting their organisations, gained more attendance and are now better equipped to share their stories in ways that resonate with their communities and stakeholders. Through these efforts, Be-Unique Social CIC has made a significant contribution to strengthening the presence and visibility of non-profits in Doncaster, ultimately helping them to better achieve their missions.
At Be-Unique Social CIC, our stakeholders include the non-profit organisations we serve, local community groups, funding bodies, and other community-focused initiatives in Doncaster. We consult our stakeholders through a variety of methods: Feedback forms and surveys: After each workshop or training session, participants are encouraged to complete feedback forms to share their experiences, suggestions, and areas for improvement. Direct conversations: We actively engage in one-on-one discussions with organisations during and after workshops to better understand their needs and challenges. Community networks and meetings: We participate in local forums and events to stay informed about the priorities and concerns of the non-profit sector. Actions Taken in Response to Feedback Based on the feedback received, we have made several adjustments to better serve our stakeholders: Tailored workshops: Stakeholders expressed the need for more practical, hands-on sessions, leading us to introduce targeted workshops such as video editing for impact and creating Reels for funding applications. Flexible scheduling: Recognising the time constraints of many non-profits, we began offering workshops at varying times, including weekends. Additional resources: In response to requests for ongoing support, we created downloadable guides and video tutorials to complement our training sessions. If no feedback has been received in a particular instance, we make this clear to our stakeholders and emphasise our openness to receiving their input at any time. This ensures they feel heard and valued, while we remain adaptable to their evolving needs.
