Company activities and impact

Green Earthlings CIC ran weekly Eco and Nature Clubs for children at Suckley Primary School in the financial year. These sessions raised awareness of environmental issues and equipped the children with knowledge of how to live in a more sustainable way and what they can do to help wildlife in their own gardens. We built bug hotels and bird feeders which were placed on the school ground which helped enhancing the biodiversity at school. We have examples where children openly talked to their families about what they learnt and in some cases, duplicated what we did at the club. Approximately 40% of the children who attended the club were pupil premium children. We also had children in foster care and children who have difficulties at home. Impact: We reached children from lots of different background. We equipped the children to learn in a safe and positive environment about wildlife, sustainability and biodiversity. Children gained creating skills on how to make several items using sustainable materials which reduces the carbon footprint and promotes eco-friendly practices for the children.
