The company provides a collective voice across Lincolnshire for VCS bodies delivering health and care services. It supports their development and helps them to measure and communicate their impact. We provide an interface with statutory bodies which fund and oversee health and care services and support them in delivering services and preventive impacts working with the VCS sector. This involves acting as an intermediary to support their strategic roles.
We run an annual conference, monthly development meetings and ad hoc member engagement events for the VCS sector. Our work helps us to ensure the sector is fully supported to play its part in underpinning the health and care of people in Lincolnshire. Key services particularly within the context of personalisation but more widely around self care and prevention have been developed and more effectively implemented through our role as an organiser and intermediary – these include social prescribing and social enterprise. We have worked with partners including Lincolnshire Voluntary Partnership, Lincolnshire Community Foundation and the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
