The Koala Tree CIC has continued its ambition to provide sustainable community groups to support the emotional wellbeing of new parents. The Koala Cuppa continues in its 5th year of delivery, and is well attended. The Dads’ Group continues into its 3rd year and is well attended. A grass roots, Peer Support led Stay & Play group has been established, grant funded. We have collaborated with other local VCSEs to deliver further groups and training. The Koala Tree has continued to build relationships with local stakeholders by presenting at local events, attending local VCSE networking meetings, delivering training to local stakeholder services. This is to promote local community groups, and to encourage referral to our services. The Koala Tree has offered a placement to our local Clinical Psychology training course to increase the delivery of free to attend services and resource. The Koala Tree has focussed on the clinical, strategic and business development of the service. We have taken part in relevant training to develop the skills and knowledge of clinicians. We secured a mentor to help develop our business and financial planning. We have taken part in regular networking events to build links with other psychologist entrepreneurs.
In July 2023 we carried out our regular focus group session. This led directly to the development of the Peer Support led Stay & Play group. We have provided regular supervision for our Peer Support Worker and have identified funds for her continuing professional development.
The total amount paid of receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £51,324.46 (including employer pension contributions).
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
