1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |

2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Turnover |
Turnover represents service charges collected from residents from the property. |
Taxation |
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the statement of financial position date. |
Income and expenditure |
Income of the company represents service charge demands issued to the residents of the property. These funds are then used to maintain and repair the property. |
3. | EMPLOYEES AND DIRECTORS |
The average number of employees during the year was NIL (2023 - NIL). |
4. | ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY |
During the period the company was controlled by the directors. |
5. | LIMITED BY GUARANTEE |
The company is limited by guarantee and therefore does not have share capital. |
6. | TRUST ACCOUNTS |
From 1 April 2011 the residents have opted to collect all service charge demands and expend these funds via Elliot House Residents Association Limited, a company limited by guarantee. Previously these amounts had been collected ane expended via a trust in the properties name. |
