COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

PRISMA GROUP CIC

Company Number: 14802715 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2024

Company activities and impact

Prisma Group CIC runs a county-wide youth forum called Loud & Proud that empowers local young people who self-identify as a minority sexual orientation or minority gender identity to create the change they would like to see in their local community. The youth forum launched officially in September 2023 and in the financial year 2023 to 2024, the youth forums activities have benefited the community in the following ways: - Empowering 7 local young people to create the change they wish to see - Providing a safe space for young people to express their opinions - Provided support to one young person during a turbulent time - Played a part in planning an event for 300 young people from across Buckinghamshire to express their concerns In addition to the forum, we have also developed a training programme in the financial year 2023 to 2024 that is set to be released in the next financial year.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are young people from within Buckinghamshire to self-identify as a minority sexual orientation or a minority gender identity. They have been consulted via the monthly meetings of the youth forum and all of their opinions and views have been considered at each stage of our delivery and planning. When the young people in question have voted in favour of a particular action, this action is then signed off by our chair of directors and is automatically passed into effect when there is no objections by the remaining board of directors.

Directors' remuneration

Our directors received payment for their involvement in projects conducted on the behalf of Prisma Group CIC. They were paid £10 an hour per hour of work, as agreed in a previous director's meeting. In total, three different director's received a combined sum of £305 for the delivery of the Loud & Proud youth forum and the development of the Queer Awareness training programme.

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
