COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

VIBRANT WARSOP COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 08850702 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2024

Company activities and impact

Vibrant Warsop CIC is a resident led organisation dedicated to Warsop Parish and surrounding settlements. We bring people together to strengthen community connection and improve health and wellbeing. We continue to support the whole of the parish and the National Lottery Community Fund is helping us to maintain this support. Weekly activities continue to run at the Vibrant Venue and other community venues include Pilates (day and evening), Fit Together, Table Tennis, Arts classes, Line dancing, Zumba and a Family History session. Thanks for funding from the Thoreseby Trust, Jones Trust 1986 and Active Notts we have been able to expand support into other settlements within the parish to provide equipment and resource to bring additional activity sessions to these communities. Our music and singing groups and community events continue with support from the Peoples Health Trust. Participants love the sessions as they are as much a social gathering, as they are learning. Work has started on our new Health Hub for Warsop and our partnership with Mansfield District Council, Active Notts, Warsop Parish Council and Strategic Leisure Ltd continues to work to ensure it is fit for the community it is being built for. The partnership secured funding from the Shared Prosperity Fund to increase capacity in the community to help get residents ready for the opening in June 24.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have introduced a Custodians group for the Vibrant Venue with representatives from users of the building and local residents to ensure we have the voice of the community helping us make decisions about the building and its use. Meetings are documented and action plans followed. We continue to collate feedback after events and classes and help this shape the way we run sessions or look to begin new activities and have undertaken in depth interviews with some of our participants to help understand impact. Impact reports are available from us and are also placed on our website.

Directors' remuneration

Directors remuneration is identified in the accounts. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed
