Company activities and impact

Throughout the last financial year, the Igbo Union Yorkshire CIC has carried out a range of activities in line with our objective to improve the health and wellbeing of our members and to encourage partnerships and integration within the local community of Leeds and West Yorkshire. We organised our annual family fun and sports day in Leeds, attracting hundreds of community members and our own members who participated in various sports and fitness activities, such as Zumba, tug-of-war, children's athletics, football, and dance. In addition, we arranged enjoyable trips within the West Yorkshire postcodes as part of our summer holiday program for children. These initiatives, conducted and financed by the Igbo Union Yorkshire CIC in partnership with Leeds City Council, advance our goal of promoting community wellbeing and fostering integration.
