Company activities and impact

Community Mind Connect is a dynamic organization committed to improving mental health and fostering creativity within the community. Our recent achievements include producing a short film that reached the finals of the Art Beats Festival and collaborating with local schools to implement art-based workshops addressing mental health and environmental issues covering important topics within the National curriculum. In the coming year, we aim to expand our impact through strategic partnerships with local councils, schools, businesses, and health organizations. By collaborating with these organizations, we will be able to deliver innovative projects that address community needs and promote positive change. We are dedicated to building a strong portfolio of projects that showcase our organization's expertise and commitment to social impact. - DOPAMINE - 500+ views across social media, YouTube, and the website. We held meetings and conversations post-film and collected feedback from the cast & crew of the film. Benefits of the student collaboration: - Increased visibility for local talent: The film's success on social media and YouTube showcased the skills and creativity of local filmmakers. - Community engagement: The post-film discussions and feedback sessions fostered a sense of community and collaboration among the project team. - Skill development: The pre-film art-based activity provided an opportunity for Lancaster University students to develop their creative skills and explore new ideas. - Cultural enrichment: The project contributed to the cultural landscape of Lancaster by producing a unique and thought-provoking piece of work. - Take2 student cinema collaboration - There was an art-based pre-film activity that involved 8 people from Lancaster University. Education collaboration - We have successfully collaborated with Warton V.C Archbishop Primary School, the project involved 43 children in total aged 4-8. - Benefits of the Education Collaboration: For Children: .Enhanced creativity and well-being .Improved self-esteem and social skills For Teachers: .Engaging learning experiences .Reduced classroom stress For Parents: .Opportunities for family engagement .Positive impact on child's well-being. Our founder Thomas, has recently completed Level 2 qualifications in Safeguarding and Understanding Behaviours that challenge. This achievement strengthens our organization’s commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all participants. - Job Creation: By sharing his knowledge and expertise, Thomas can train others to recognise and address potential risks and challenges.
