Activities and Impact 1. What activities has the company undertaken to further its community benefit purpose? Eco Around CIC is committed to promoting environmental sustainability through its flagship activity, the Litter Pick Walk. This initiative involves monthly clean-up walks conducted on the first Saturday of each month. Participants, including volunteers and local residents, gather to clean various parks and areas across London. The specific locations include: Hyde Park Stratford Peckham East Ham Hackney Richmond Park Walthamstow Finsbury Park 2. How do these activities benefit the community? The Litter Pick Walks have made a measurable impact by: Enhancing the cleanliness and usability of public spaces for residents and visitors. Raising awareness about environmental responsibility and the importance of keeping public spaces clean. Reducing waste-related hazards for local wildlife. Fostering a sense of community and collaboration among participants. 3. How has the community been involved in these activities? Community engagement through active participation in clean-up events, with over 150 individuals taking part during the reporting period. Use of social media platforms and local posters to attract volunteers and raise awareness about upcoming events

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders The stakeholders of Eco Around CIC include: Local residents who use the parks and public spaces for recreation. Volunteers and community members who participate in the Litter Pick Walks. Local authorities and councils responsible for maintaining public spaces. Environmental organizations and advocacy groups collaborating on sustainability projects. Local businesses and sponsors who provide funding or in-kind support. Consultation Process Eco Around CIC has actively engaged its stakeholders in the following ways: Community Feedback Surveys: Surveys were distributed to local residents and volunteers after the clean-up events to gather feedback on the activity's effectiveness and areas for improvement. Open Meetings and Workshops: Regular meetings were held with community members and local councils to discuss environmental challenges and identify priority areas for clean-up activities. Social Media Polls: Online platforms were used to conduct polls and gather suggestions for new locations and additional initiatives to enhance environmental impact. Actions Taken in Response to Feedback Increased Coverage Areas: Based on feedback from local residents, additional clean-up zones, such as Peckham and East Ham, were included in the monthly schedule.
