Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 29 February 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen not to file a copy of the company's profit and loss account.

Company activities and impact

The club provides a sporting facility accessible to all. Facilities include a community sports social club with licensed bar, open to the public on evenings and weekends. The premises are available for use to the community to host events and gatherings. - The use of the facilities has seen the creation of a part time role (16 hours). - The senior football team play their home matches at the ground, with average crowds up by approx. 24% on previous years. - Social evenings have been established for senior member of the community which had previously been lost as well as church meetings within the club on Sundays - The facilities have been used regularly by a local charity helping to help with rehabilitating young offenders from the area and offering them a place to volunteer with grounds keeping and basic maintenance. - A walking football team has been established which has grown to 8 teams including a ladies section also This offers football to anyone over 40 with no upper age limit. - We have added a reserves football team this year to bridge the gap into mens football for our junior players. We have added a Sunday team this year - We have classes attend from Benfield High School which children who find it hard to conduct themselves correctly in school. We have been running a breakfast club which has now over 80 pupils from the high school attending every day.

Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders are the club members and supporters. The directors have a longstanding relationship with the football club and are from the local community. We have openly asked for feedback and suggestions from stakeholders ,which identified several improvements they would like to see which were actioned as follows: We were asked to improve our Social Media out put. For this we have 3 new volunteers who produce content and videos weekly
