The company runs events and dance classes that promote physical and mental well-being. During the financial year 2022-2023 the activities have benefited the community in the following ways Local residents in the geographical arear of Wormley, Broxbourne had access to subsidised dance classes Local residents were able to attend classes aimed at those suffering from long term health conditions under the ‘live longer better scheme’ run by Herts Sports Partnership, from which the company received funding The company was able to assist residents in receiving better support for their mental health through connections made with other local Local residents made new connections by attending classes and events Local residents built up their confidence through learning a new skill and meeting new people Local residents develop their physical wellbeing from attending the classes adapted to assist those with limited mobility
The company's stakeholders are those in the local area of Broxbourne The directors have recently moved to the area and found there was a lack of events for those interested in Rock’n’Roll music or with limited mobility or challenged with travelling far for classes and music events The directors attend locally hosted events within venues they had built relationships with to meet local residents to speak to them and establish the interest in the classes and events Local residents were asked for feedback on what time of day and day of the week events should be held. Different event times and days were hosted as part of this feedback and discussions Online group chats were established so those attending the classes and events could connect with each other to plan sharing journeys and work out attending events together.
The directors only received remuneration as the dance instructors of the classes through the funding received specifically for the classes There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors from the company
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
