Company activities and impact

We are a Grade 1 listed pier open to the public 7 days pw for 7 months [summer period] and 5 days pw for remaining 5 months. Also open on Bank Holidays and full week in half terms. There is: a shop; discovery / interpretative gallery; the promenade; cafe; and restaurant. Disabled access and toilet facilities. Key events are held e.g. Remembrance Sunday, Coronation Day as well as childrens events and trails for Easter, Christmas, Halloween etc. The pier is used by schools and education providers for visits. Local people and companies can hire the pier for weddings, social events, meetings etc. In June the Waverley sails in the Bristol Channel from and to the pier. In summary the benefits are: provision and maintenance of a Grade 1 pier; location for events; tourism; and for the health & wellbeing of individuals.
