This year Aspire Productions has carried out a number of projects within the local community focusing on music development and creative expression primarily within the black and ethnic minority communities. This has included a program working with young asylum seekers where they were taught basic instrument skills and studio basics. Aspire has also been able to offer many subtilised studio sessions during the year, working with those who have been through the criminal justice system as well as those who are at risk of the same. Aspire has also begun developing young people to be able to offer paid work within the studio setting, something that will be developed for the coming year.
