COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

NVRNORTHAMPTON COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 12453935 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2024

Company activities and impact

NVRnorthampton has continued to offer our community an ethical child raising approach that is in line with contemporary attachment & trauma theory and modern neuroscience. We have supported many families locally and online – both privately commissioned and funded by the Adoption Support Fund, and we have delivered our 10th ‘Beginner’s Mind’ parent coaching course this year. The number of parents recruiting our service when struggling in family court disputes regarding contact problems has continued to increase. We have found that NVR strategies can offer neutral, relational and child-focused interventions, independent of the contentious and heated debates concerning definitions and diagnoses of ‘Parental Alienation’. Our two accredited trainers have successfully delivered two Foundation Level training courses for professionals. Both are currently in training to deliver NVR at advanced level, and we hope to be able to offer these level 2 courses to professionals from the spring of 2025.

Consultation with stakeholders

Feedback from both our 10th NVR Beginner’s Mind course and feedback from our second NVR Foundation training for Professionals has been consistently positive and encouraging (see www.NVRnorthampton.co.uk for feedback examples).

Directors' remuneration

Any remuneration received by the Director has been clearly detailed in the company accounts, in the form of invoices for consultation hours as a Sole trader and included in Miss Willis’s HMRC Tax self-assessment declaration. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
