Since inception the Company has successfully put on several music events in the Southport area. These range from the 3 day Southport Jazz Festival which attracted over 2000 people many of which were from outside of the area and booked hotel rooms, restaurants and generally provided a boost for the local economy on what is the quietest weekend of the year for the town. The Company also put on free to attend music events for people to enjoy with refreshments also provided, these were specifically for the benefit of more elderly or disadvantaged people who ordinarily would not be able to attend any ticketed events. We have provided musicians for other community events and have formed an alliance with the newly reformed Sefton Youth Jazz orchestra to provide tuition, resources and support for the young musicians in this band.
