Activities over the period have included: Ryde Arts CIC have provided 22 commissioning opportunities -Ryde Arts CIC have provided 6 work-in-progress Window Residencies -14 creative practitioners have undertaken paid opportunities -100 % of the artists are Island residents -Ryde Arts CIC have provided 23 free workshops for the community -Ryde Arts CIC have worked with 22 volunteer organisations -Ryde Arts CIC have worked with 16 local organisations -Ryde Arts have rented empty window space for 6 months, utilised a further empty window as exhibition space. - for Ryde Carnival Children’s Day. Workshops were delivered at Department, New Carnival, Appley Park, Network Ryde and Ryde Library -Provided free funding advice for local artists. -Strengthened relationships between artists working across the Solent. -Ryde Arts CIC has facilitated conversations financial support with Ryde Town Council, Ryde Carnival Association and sponsorship partners to protect the future of Ryde Carnival events. -Green Garlands provided local residents the chance to create Christmas wreaths for their homes facilitated by our green artists at Ryde library. -Continued work with the High Street Heritage Action Zone and Cultural Consortium project Waving the Flag. -Maintaining the role of Creative Director to develop and manage the work of the CIC, managing Arts Council project grant Blueprint -Working collaboratively with local CIC Shademakers, Stitch Department CIC and Horsebox Theatre CIC in order to bring a former department store back into use as a community cultural hub. -Working with local museums and artists to curate an exhibition on in the window of the former High Street department store, Packs.
No consultation with stakeholders
One of the Directors is engaged as the Creative Director of Ryde Arts and claims a monthly fee as part of a contract with Ryde Arts. The Director’s salary is at £5,694 There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for directors’ loss of office which require to be disclosed.
