The company runs pre-schools to provide Early Years education and care following the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework, to pre-school aged children between the ages of 1 and 4 years. The pre-schools are inspected by Ofsted. The communities have benefitted in the following ways: A safe pre-school environment has been provided which has promoted the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental, and physical development of the children in the pre-school. The pre-schools follows the government Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and are inspected by Ofsted. The pre-schools provide employment within the surrounding areas. The pre-schools welcome local families on regular stay and play sessions with early years professionals on hand to support and advise. Training facilities are provided for childcare professionals to facilitate the passing of information and professional collaboration.
The company’s stakeholders are the children attending the pre-schools and the parents and carers of these children. The children are always listened to, and child-initiated play is standard practice. Regular parent/carers evenings are held where concerns and ideas are discussed. Parents are also regularly consulted on opening times, services offered, and we also consult on any changes to the provisions. A leavers questionnaire is sent out to the parents/carers of all children leaving the pre-schools asking for feedback on what we do and any improvements or changes that we could implement. We work with all the local schools and other providers to ensure the needs of the children are always met. We regularly attend network meetings for the local areas as well as county wide to ensure we are up to date with any changes to legislation that may affect our stakeholders. We run a Saturday group 8 times a year for families who attend the pre-schools and for new families on our waiting list. This is to encourage positive relationships between ourselves and the families.
The aggregate amount of emoluments paid to or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £95,992. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
