The Queer Emporium Foundation C.I.C. has delivered a number of impactful projects benefiting the local LGBTQ+ Community to Cardiff and surrounding areas. The majority of these projects have been events that have addressed issues facing the community including loneliness, helping people from disadvantaged backgrounds and at risk or in poverty, young people and families. These initiatives have included Speed Friendshipping, Community Dog Walks, Community Meet Ups, Queer Parents Mornings and events based around a specific interest or skill, for example craft workshops
Stakeholder Consultation has involved significant amounts of survey and data gathering on attendees. This has resulted in improved events, easier scheduling in the day for access and the development of more skill based initiatives. We have surveyed over 200 people for the period for this report. We have had approximately 25,000 visitors who have used the space in some capacity in the past year (this may count revisits as we have no way to distinguish at this point).
