Company activities and impact

Wintergreen UK cic has conducted activities with the military veterans community to help improve mental health and wellbeing through the arts. In particular we have concentrated on the homeless cohort of Veterans who live in Veteran specific temporary housing. This has supported this cohort gain their confidence and independence by helping them express themselves through art. They have been able to get involved in displaying their art in local communities and galleries and brought greater confidence in speaking about their experiences of service life. Many have gone on to unsupported and independent living and a desire to help other Veterans through this journey of recovery.

Our stakeholders are the veterans themselves, Alabare Charity, Woody's Lodge Charity, Salvation Army homes, Conwy Council.
