Company activities and impact

El Shaddai's Amazin Grace has continued to make a significant impact on the community in London by providing essential career development services to individuals seeking employment and career advancement. Our primary activities involved offering personalised CV writing support and one-on-one coaching sessions, aimed at helping individuals improve their employability. These services were particularly targeted at individuals facing barriers to employment, such as long-term unemployment, low income, or under representation in the workforce. A core aspect of our work this year was providing free CV writing services to 10 individuals in the London community. We helped participants create professional, tailored CVs that effectively showcased their skills, experience, and qualifications. This was especially valuable for those with limited experience in crafting CVs, such as young people entering the workforce for the first time or adults looking to re-enter the job market after a career break. Through personalized guidance and feedback, we empowered these individuals to enhance their CVs, significantly improving their chances of securing interviews and job opportunities. In addition to CV support, we offered personalized coaching sessions to 15 individuals, designed to build confidence, improve interview skills, and provide career guidance. These sessions were tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual, whether they were just starting their career or looking to make a transition into a new role. The coaching also helped participants develop a clearer understanding of their career goals and how to achieve them. Many individuals reported a boost in confidence, better preparation for interviews, and several went on to secure positions in their desired fields. Our services have had a particular impact on individuals from underrepresented and marginalised groups in London, including ethnic minorities, women returning to work after a career break, and individuals with disabilities. By addressing the unique challenges faced by these groups in the job market, we have helped promote greater diversity and inclusion in the workforce. We believe these efforts have made a meaningful contribution to improving employment outcomes and empowering individuals to achieve their career goals.
