The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 28 February 2024

Principal activities of the company

Fearless People are a community interest company focusing on Creating space time and opportunity for the community to come together and learn share and grow in a holistic way. In this financial year we have worked with the local authority to create a "Farmers & Craft Market" to support the local community restoring pride in the town and creating a space and time where people can gather and connect with each other.We have also created a free youth provision in the local park for children aged 8-12 Years based on bushcraft and connecting with nature.The company's stakeholders are residents of and visitors to townThe directors have worked and volunteered in Town for over 25 years. developing the business model for the Farmers and Craft Market and youth provision based on their experience of talking to residents Young people and visitors to the town.We have collected questionnaires about what would make our town a great place to live and peoples shopping habits alongside this we also have a network of shop owners who regularly feed into our project with information ideas and anecdotal stories.This has helped us to build up a profile of local community and their needs and what we can do to meet them more effectively.Our research has enabled us to identify that there are is an aging population who shop daily and are limited to the local supermarket for fresh produce and a growing number of young families who are traveling out of the area to engage in clubs and activities.The farmers market supports 30 local traders, provided the community with a social opportunity and raises pride and interest in the townThe youth provision is directly benefiting 30 young people and their families with activities taking place at least once a week.
