During this financial year, enJOY arts CIC has delivered 9 different community arts projects, of varying lengths, including the creation of 6 free/affordable community performances and 2 community exhibitions. We have worked creatively with approximately 300 participants, ranging in age from 1 to 95+ years of age, using drama, creative writing, music, and visual art to engage, empower and inspire people from all walks of life. Our projects and our performances and exhibitions reached in excess of 1000 audience members. All of our projects have been delivered in partnership with other organisations. Owing to the creative nature of our projects, other than the statistics outlined above, much of our evaluation is qualitative. We measure impact by identifying improvements in areas such as confidence, well-being and willingness to try new things from what participants tell us about their experience of each project. We also gather audience feedback from community performances to get a sense of wider impact on local people, places and communities.
Our entire approach is participant-led and we put the ideas and opinions of our participants at the heart of everything we do. We continually collect participant feedback throughout each project, which is invaluable in improving and influencing both current and future projects. The ideas for new projects comes directly from suggestions made by stakeholders, communities we work with and participants. Our advisory board include a participants as it is important to have their perspective at governance level, vital in informing our practice and future plans. Our Advisory Board meets quarterly to steer the on-going work of the organisation.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £8255. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
