Rise Community CIC provide sport, physical activity and mental well being services nationwide to targeted groups. Our impact & aims are to increase physical activity levels, reduce obesity, combat the mental health crisis, reduce social isolation and increase community cohesion. We've been busy bees delivering 8 amazing projects that drew in a whopping 1031 participants across London & Essex during the past 12 month. Our team put together 5 projects aimed at boosting adult mental and physical well-being, 2 projects aimed at guiding young people away from gang exploitation and 1 project focused on helping females lead a healthier lifestyle. We rocked this , delivering a whopping 6 workshops as part of our 8 projects! We put the spotlight on 3 projects that focused on mental health and well-being, while 2 projects aimed at boosting healthy lifestyles. And, to top it off, we swung into action with a workshop for young people, addressing the risks of being thrust into a gang. Brace yourself for some impressive stats! After delivering 5 Rise Box adult health & wellbeing projects, nearly 700 surveys showed that a whopping 93% felt like they had a mental health makeover! Talk about a powerful health glow-up!
ver the past 12 months we have consulted with users and stakeholders such as local authorises, funding bodies such as the postcode lottery trust who have supported Rise Community CIC in the past 12 months. Feedback was positive in relation to what had been delivered and what outcomes where achieved. The only recommendation being to deliver addition frame focused projects moving forward to meet the demand.
