Company activities and impact

In the past financial year, UDA Community CiC has used funding to deliver key programs supporting Black and disadvantaged communities. Project Motiv8 provided mentorship and life skills training, helping young people build resilience, confidence, and aspirations. Climb Program engaged participants in structured activities, promoting self-discipline, leadership, and teamwork while reducing vulnerability to negative influences. Girls-Only Activities created safe spaces to support mental well-being, confidence, and empowerment, addressing safety concerns and promoting positive self-esteem. These initiatives have strengthened community cohesion, improved youth well-being, and increased access to opportunities. UDA Community CiC remains committed to expanding its impact and supporting young people’s growth in the coming year.

Consultation with stakeholders

UDA Community CiC conducted a small consultation session with a group of secondary school girls to better understand their needs. This session provided valuable insights into the challenges they face, particularly around safety, well-being, and personal development. The feedback from this consultation directly informed the girls-only activities we facilitated, ensuring that our programs were tailored to create safe spaces, promote confidence, and support mental well-being. This stakeholder engagement has helped shape our approach to delivering impactful and relevant support to young people in our community.
