1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Rose Cross Properties Ltd is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Turnover
Turnover represents amounts receivable for rental income apportioned on a daily basis which is exempt from VAT.

Investment property
Investment property is shown at most recent valuation. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from changes in fair value is recognised in profit or loss.

Reporting period
These financial statements cover 12 months to 31 January 2024. The prior year period comparatives cover the company's first reporting period from incorporation on 19 January 2022 to 31 January 2023.

Going concern
During the year ended 31 January 2024, the company made a loss after tax of £261 (2023: £9,287) and had net liabilities of £9,547 (2023: £9,286).

The company continues to meet its day to day working capital requirements through a directors loan of £307,970 (2023: £355,970). Accordingly, the director considers it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis and he does not include any adjustment that would result from withdrawal of support.
