Borocuda Teesside Amateur Swimming Club has provided competitive swimming opportunities for children and young people in Teesside. This year has seen the growth of the club to incorporate an entry squad allowing swimmers to access competitive swimming at an early age. The club has also gone on to join the Special Olympics given an additional branch of competition to its para-sqaud. The competitive squad as a whole has gone from strength-to-strength by providing training and coaching to swimmers and also training officials for competitions. To ensure Borocuda TASC achieves it's ethos of "swimming for everyone" a hardship fund is available for swimmers who face financial difficulties, providing fully funded lessons and coaching opportunities for children from under-priviledged backgrounds who show potential in the sport.
The company is governed by 3 directors, an executive committee comprising the directors, chairperson and head coach, and a further committee which is responsible for the day-to-day running of the club. There are a minimum of 3 committee meetings within the year and an AGM which occurs at the start of the season. There has been no feedback from these consultations which affect the running of the club from the point of view of the stakeholders.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
