ROBERT YEATS & SON LIMITED

Directors' report period ended 31 March 2024

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 March 2024

Principal activities of the company

The Company owns a freehold property and the directors are considering how best to generate value for The Company. The directors continue to investigate past transactions and are seeking to confirm The Company's assets and liabilities as they present themselves. The former director continues to hamper these investigations by refusing to provide any information or company records. The former director has also prevented access to The Company's freehold property. As a consequence the directors have instructed lawyers to investigate certain transactions which may have been outside of the scope of the former director's authority. As a consequence of the former director's refusal to provide the statutory records, the directors continue to press The Company's bankers to provide copies of past correspondence and other paperwork.

Additional information

STATEMENT OF DIRECTORS’ RESPONSIBILITY Company law requires the directors of a company to prepare accounts for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the Company and of its profit or loss for that period. In preparing those accounts the directors are required to select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently; make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; state whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the accounts; and prepare the accounts on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in business. The directors have chosen not to file a copy of The Company’s profit & loss account.
