British Troops Remembered CIC raise funds by selling merchandise, arranging football cards, attending events and donations. Our community have benefited in the following ways: 1) They have received yearly gifts of remembrance to mark occasions such as the anniversary of their loved one passing away, Mothers and Fathers day, a small gift at Christmas for the children they have left behind. 2) On which would have been their loved one's birthday we do a birthday tribute video and we release a helium balloon into the air to celebrate their birthday. 3) We sell merchandise which they get personalised such as Hoodies, Jumpers, T-shirt's and personalised wooden crosses so they can place at their loved one's final resting place. 4) We are also free to attend family occasions of remembrance which the families organise. 5) We hold a yearly fun day to the general public so we can make them aware of the work we do and have fun by looking around stalls and other entertainment. 6) Lots of families have so benefited from our cause and work we do.
The company's stakeholders are the veteran/military bereaved families that contact us and fill in the appropriate form to register their details. The owner of the company has had strong relationships with many of our veteran/military bereaved families for many years, and have listened to their stories and the lack of support they receive on occasions of remembrance. We haven't asked for any feed back on our service as we don't feel its right to asked the bereaved that kind of question, but from the feed back we receive when they receive gifts from their Facebook posts is very touching, the work we do is highly appreciated as we get told verbally when we meet them and via Facebook posts. The companies stakeholders receive monthly newsletters via email updating them on what we have been up to and what we have planned.
