General information

WR Property Funding Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The address of the registered office, which is also the principal place of business, is disclosed on the company information page.

2.Accounting policies

 
2.1

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland' and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006. The disclosure requirements of Section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

The following principal accounting policies have been applied:

 
2.2

Turnover

Turnover is recognised to the extent that it is probable that the economic benefits will flow to the Company and the turnover can be reliably measured. Turnover is measured as the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.

 
2.3

Taxation

Tax is recognised in profit or loss except that a charge attributable to an item of income and expense recognised as other comprehensive income or to an item recognised directly in equity is also recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity respectively.

The current income tax charge is calculated on the basis of tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the reporting date in the countries where the Company operates and generates income.


 
2.4

Valuation of investments

Investments in subsidiaries are measured at cost less accumulated impairment.

Other fixed asset investments represents an amount relating to a loan to Torre Property S.L., a trading company registered in Spain.

Other current investments represents an amount relating to bonds recognised at cost. Any interest received from the bonds rolls up over the lifetime of the bond.

The average monthly number of employees, including directors, during the year was 1 (2023 - 2).

Prior year reclassfications

During the year the director concluded that a balance of £262,143 to be reclassified from current assets to fixed asset investments to provide a true and fair view of the intention of these assets being held as long term investments. 
There is no profit or tax impact as a result of the above reclassifications.
