Within this financial year Mind Over Matter 2019 CIC have provided weekly, monthly activities and one off events to have a positive impact on individuals mental, physical and social wellbeing. Our weekly football, yoga and DanzBeatz sessions have been consistently well attended and the feedback we have received reports improved health benefits such as improved fitness levels, weight loss in some instances, having more energy. Improvement in stress levels, anxiety and more quality sleep. Our monthly Frame of Mind Walks have been extremely popular and regularly attended. We have walked in a variety of locations and interesting places ensuring accessibility for all. Members have reported the aforementioned benefits in health Improvement but also the social benefits of establishing friendships, peer support and going on to their own separate activities with new friends outside the monthly walks. A positive impact on reducing isolation and social wellbeing. This financial period also included planning and preparation to commence regular podcasts and " Exchanging Pleasantries, whereby different topics speakers were presented by guest speakers / experts and those with lived experience of physical and mental conditions. Also we planned a book club Chatty Chapters- a social meet up to discuss our reading choices, recommendations and book swap. We held our annual MOMday fundraising event in May with special guests, professional football players, members of Bring Me The Horizon group playing in the football match. A feel good community event enjoyed by all. Disappointingly, this financial year we did not have the volunteer support we had hoped for to develop more activities. We attributed this to changes in people's circumstances, current economic situation people are having to work more hours, take on extra employment.
