Company activities and impact

Project village runs groups in Kent and London, supporting mums in the community. The group events, are linked to improving Mental Health Awareness for Mums. The aim of the group, is that mums can come to groups, and whilst their children are looked after in a supportive way by registered workers, each mum, can go into a separate room, and have beauty treatments. Giving them some time for themselves, which is not otherwise possible. This helps to improve Mental Health and general wellbeing of all mums in the community. This group differs from others as all other community lead groups focus on the development of the children, sometimes forgetting to address the wellbeing of mums and how important this is. There is no criteria in terms of of age range for children, this group is open to all. All events have been held in Church and School Halls.
