We, the company directors of Playful Doses Drama CIC Sandy Beech and Leia Licorish, confirm that although we have not yet begun trading we have received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund of £20,000 and the project will be starting in February 2025. We will be running free parent/carer child wellbeing drama and breakfast clubs for economically disadvantaged/isolated families in three Wandsworth areas (Roehampton, Battersea and Tooting). The tailor-made sessions, which includes a free breakfast, will help children develop confidence in self-expression, communication, language, and social skills as well as strengthen the bond between children and their parents/carers.
