Gwahafi C.I.C continues to provide a safe platform for Christian fellowship whilst attending to the needs of its members. The organisation is yet to fully operate as its still going through programme development and training for its facilitators. During the time under review the organisation has been hosting seminars for its members covering topics as requested by the members such as Domestic violence, entrepreneurship, and marriage. All the activities were virtually hosted. PUSH – daily prayer, encouragement, and counselling sessions. Average attendance of 20 gadgets. Meetings mainly on zoom. The PUSH group has given a space for expression through prayer and the members have developed meaningful relationships, supporting one another as necessary. AGAPE Men – Seminars held on the many topics including the following, how to balance business and family, dealing with domestic violence as a man, Man, and his mental wellbeing. Entrepreneurship – Starting a business and networking. Although the other groups are yet to be functional, members have taken part in the activities hosted by PUSH and AGAPE men. Many testimonies have been received on how the organisation has been instrumental in preventing relationship and family breakdown as well as mental wellbeing.
PART 2 – CONSULTATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS – Please indicate who the company’s stakeholders are; how the stakeholders have been consulted and what action, if any, has the company taken in response to feedback from its consultations? If there has been no consultation, this should be made clear. The stake holders are members from all walks of life. Each group has a committee that runs its programmes and through these suggestions have been received. Members of the different subgroups have collectively identified an area of need to be addressed and suggested facilitators and external professionals to facilitate as well. Now there are consultations on what a membership subscription should be and what would be the benefit of being a subscribed member. This consultative drive is aimed at making sure that the members have ownership and control of the programmes and organisations’ affairs. All seminars held have a feedback, follow up meeting, there is freedom to express, suggest and contribute. Part of the feedback received has been the need for physical meetings. The organisation is working towards this. Through feedback 2 more groups will be created to cater for categories that are not finding relevance in the existing ones eg Young Wives group to be further divided from 0 – 5 years in marriage and 5 -10 instead of the 0 – 10 years that was there. All the directors are of a Christian background and are geographically located (Scotland, Northeast, Midlands and the South of England) in the different parts of the nation. They are also from different denominations.
