Company activities and impact

We saw our first client in August 2023, during our first year 2023 /2024 we were able to offer support and signposting to individuals, families and other professionals via telephone Support, face to face support, teams support, Park meet ups, attending professional meetings, networking events, coffee mornings, evening meet up groups, sound bath sessions, support completing forms, writing supporting letters, independent living support, support attending appointments in the community, volunteering roles , teen social group, We have also supported via emails and our facebook Group and Page.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have 3 directors who all have a personal connection to Autism and ADHD. Using our own personal journeys helped us to decide what is needed to better support neurodivergent families and individuals. We focus on the environment we offer support in to be sure clients can feel comfortable and relaxed when meeting with us. We match clients up to staff with similar interests to help when building trusting relationships. During our free coffee mornings we always ask others what support they would like, many explain they got a diagnosis then felt left on their own not knowing where to turn. Based on this feed back we created a where to turn next booklet of which we shared with a staff member of Suffolk County Council early Help Team.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £4007.90 our wage figure is low as we choose to work for free for the first few months whilst trying to get Neurodivergent Abilities CIC established. All staff take a small wage and no bonus or shares.
