Principal activities of the company

Conflicts Education is a community interest company created to engage with communities as individuals, groups, charities, educational institutions, and businesses. The aim is to promote conflict transformation for innovative leadership , personal and professional development as to facilitate service delivery, skills and build healthy relations even with differences. It is based in London , supports communities anywhere and has a special interest in the London Borough of Kingston Upon Thames. Through partnerships Conflicts Education seeks to promote , deliver, and develop conflict education inspired by restorative practices for innovative leadership, and wellbeing to enhance relations It does this with various stakeholders including volunteers by offering constructive and positive conflict transformation courses, workshops, awareness raising sessions, focus groups, 1-to-1 support and any other creative formal or informal praxis which helps to improve and create a positive, empowering, and resilient communities in businesses, centres for learning and social networks.

Balance sheet statements

Through partnerships Conflicts Education seeks to promote , deliver, and develop conflict education inspired by restorative practices for innovative leadership, and wellbeing to enhance relations It does this with various stakeholders including volunteers by offering constructive and positive conflict transformation courses, workshops, awareness raising sessions, focus groups, 1-to-1 support and any other creative formal or informal praxis which helps to improve and create a positive, empowering, and resilient communities in businesses, centres for learning and social networks. 2023/24 financial year has been the 2nd year of engagement with the communities it intends to serve. The organisation has continued building strong organic networks within the communities and made over 70 inceptive contacts including schools, Not profit umbrella bodies, potential associates and clients/beneficiaries to ground itself in communities and stakeholders The organisation has held meetings equivalent to over 200 hours with stakeholders to build collaborate with regards to training to involve the local communities as part of the outreach in the year 2023/24. A fully functioning website with free course to access has been developed and now the organisation is embarking on awareness programme which is challenging but progressing for people to take courses on the website. We focused on online information sharing by: Making the more blog active to increase the number of visitors to 100 a week New problem -Exploring anxiety in nature has been developed to be launched in late Spring 2025.It is a Ten weeks programme. We have trained a group in The Gift of Reconciliation in a local Church, and we are planning replicate the programme this year 2025. We have continued to engage with local community policy makers on issues of interpersonal conflict transformation.

Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders for Conflicts Education (Messengers Education) CIC include, young people, and families that can be engaged physically and online. Other stakeholders include community leaders and key partners e.g., universities and charities. Managers in small businesses and individual persons affected by conflicts at both individual and professional level in workplaces. We are committed to consulting with our stakeholders and where required, acting in response to feedback. Indeed, one of our organisational values is that we are a listening and learning organisation. The whole of last year we engaged with them online which has influenced changes in practice, procedures, and processes. Our consultation is ongoing especially for the training materials being developed and is very much focussed on taking advantage of artificial intelligence to make our training work easier when it comes to free resources and raising awareness for conflict transformation . We continue consulting to acquire more information for practical training, we are now on collating and processing level. Our major top issues include young people in relation to challenging relationships and building community relationships skills in centres of education. We have listened to lived experience feedback which have influenced our adjusting the strategic plans. Through consultations with stakeholders, a decision has been reached to take advantage of our offices being in Chiswick and engage with potential stakeholders Our consultations have led us to joining up with local charity to offer an outdoor course of exploring anxiety in nature. We are strengthening a well-established user’s complaints / compliments process and the results of this reviewed regularly by the directors to improve service delivery. Our supporters associates/Volunteers and multiple local individuals are also closely being involved in the consultation and planning process, especially in relation to the nomination and selection of relevant/appropriate training and training locations and how to it We also steadily developing relationships online organisations and people in the professional to share resources and support each other .
