Rejuven8 Kokor0 cic the past year, helping and developing people and the community and veterans physically, socially and emotionally. offering services and quality goods at fair or free prices depending on the demographics of a person or group of individuals, sometimes families. Walking & talking had a massive impact within my community this year pre pandemic/pre covid given the fact my borough is the 2nd most deprived borough in the uk. I had good turnouts and a lot of people engaged within the community and talked about their mental health issues, I had a lot of returning clients who felt better because of this project, resulting in days out for long walks in the countryside. age ranging from 22- 58. Gym sessions getting people in off the streets and engaging into gym based exercises, followed by a cup of tea/coffee to talk about their mental health this had a massive impact in young males ranging from 18-35 although we did has the occasional males ranging from 40- 56, this prevented isolation and encouraged men to join together in expressing themselves and peer support in addressing problems. Veterans- offering services to veterans Infrared sauna and Floatation Therapy helping with PTSD, and other cases veterans arise with, forming their own walking groups and gym groups also offering 1-2-1 Boxing & Thai boxing lessons to help engage and channel their energy helping them cope with stress and building confidence. Infrared Sauna proved to be very popular with the public and my cohort of groups within the community given the many benefits its has upon a individual and this can cater to many people given its qualities , ive had people 18+ to 65 years suffering with chronic pain i.e arthritis of which all felt the benefits. Floatation Therapy, Ive had people suffering from mental health, suffering from anxiety coming out of the float feeling relieved and better within themselves. Veterans from a well known charity liaising and collaborating to help veterans suffering with alcoholism and drug related issues in recovery coming to the float as part of their recovery to help aid them back to full health. Meeting up and collaborating with other agencies proved to be very beneficial as I was able to get other people from various demographics who many might have suffered silently if we had not taken this approuch. use of VR headset- helping people prior to using float therapy to relax and immerse themselves into a relaxing environment. People using the vr with mental health issues benefited from the use of this when immersed into a scenario whether it be in the woods or on the beach. Mentoring helping children with SEN needs to become resilient and help them transition back to school. A lot of children suffer in silence. I am able to use my experience from the army and as an individual to support them in their lives, mentoring them, helping them achieve goals, physically, socially and emotionally putting them back on track.
