This year has been focussed on research and developing the mission and work of Play Healing CIC and building a training course that can be accessed from all around the world on a platform called thinktific. This training was centred around creating stronger attachment between parents / caregiver and child that can be effective even in times of displacement by war prompted by the Ukrainian war and the 1000 Feather Project that took place previously. A number of practitioners and therapists have since taken part in this training and documented their findings. Play Healing has started to work with L Stockbridge to look at funding possibilities. They have also rebranded and launched another podcast episode to provide free support for families and family workers.
Feedback forms from trainings have been really promising with Highly Satisfied results. Photographic evidence of the play-fuelled interactions between parents and carers have inspired Debi to continue to look for ways to fund this work further.
