In the financial year 2024, Hope Therapies CIC stopped providing speech and language therapy and occupational therapy to families. Without grant funding, the CIC is unable to provide support to families with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. During the year, an Autism Cafe was run, once a month in the evening for Parents of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities; however, due to personal circumstances with one of the directors, we were not able to carry on with this. We have also been unable to apply for grants or further our plans.
Our stakeholders are the families whom we work with. We spoke to families that we were already in contact with to find out what kind of support they feel is missing in Coventry. Several people said they would like to meet other parents of autistic children to chat and share experiences. We spoke to several similar groups around Warwickshire and Solihull to find out more information and advice.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
