COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

TOTAL FAMILY COACHING & PARENTING CIC

Company Number: 10708221 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 April 2024

Company activities and impact

- We continued to deliver our locally funded parenting programmes to help parents learn positive disciplining strategies to rebuild parent-child relationship, improve family relationships and prevent family break down. We delivered 142 sessions in Kensington and Chelsea, benefiting 52 parents. The sessions were a mixture of 1:1 session as well as group sessions. - Majority of our clients were referred to us as part of an exit plan from a previous intervention and having an introduction meeting with the client from the referring agency as part of the assessment, allowed us to build a trusting relationship with the client from an early stage. - We provided individual and group sessions tailored to fit each family's needs. We are a multi-lingual team offering services to ethnic minority families in their own language including Arabic and Albanian. The community benefited by building positive family and interpersonal relationships. Empowering parents to take responsibility for their child behaviour, use positive disciplining strategies to reduce family conflict, neglect, and anti-social behaviour. We worked with households to explore and find ways to transform how they function within their families and how the families' behaviour impacts communities. Our service worked with families both individually and, to address personal and shared difficulties rising from the effect of the pandemic and the lock down. This involved goal setting and practical assistance to achieve them.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are the families and clients attending our programmes. We continued to use pre and post intervention measuring tools to monitor change and identify additional needs the families may have. We value the feedback from service users, and we use it to design our tailored programmes to meet the needs of the community. We continue to develop and train our practitioners in the latest programmes for the benefits of our community.
