Company activities and impact

Level Up Gaming Events CIC was founded to use video games as a way to get children and young adults interested in a career in STEM. We use gaming as a way to bring the community together and put attendees in contact with local businesses, colleges and universities to help turn an interest into a career. We have hosted our own free standalone event at the local college in which they had a stall. We had roughly 500 attendees and around 20 signups to gaming related courses as a result. We also provided our equipment to another event run by the council to increase their offering.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are the people that attend our events. We continuously ask for input and suggestions when planning events, have whiteboards available for feedback during the events and surveys afterwards. The feedback we gather from these is considered when planning any future events and we’ve made a number of changes to our events as a result.
