Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stake holders are the local residents and users of the cafe, the church members and leadership team and the volunteers and staff members. The Directors are all local residents who have lived in the area for 20+ years; they have been able to bring their personal knowledge and experience into shaping the ethos of the cafe, providing activities for the cafe users based on this knowledge, as well as liaising with them during conversations in the cafe, where feedback is freely given. Each director attends the cafe at least 2 days a week, thereby being known and accessible to the cafe users. Members of the church and leadership team attend the cafe regularly, and are also Directors of the cafe or a paid staff member. This enables a flow of communication between all stake holders, contributing to ongoing conversations about how to create a safe warm welcome in the cafe for all local residents.
