Company activities and impact

The company runs a variety of initiatives to help children and families to connect with nature as a way of improving their overall wellbeing. We Be Kids have created a large digital library of activities and ideas that are free to access via the website. These resources have contributed to the wellbeing of individuals and families but have also provided a resource bank for other organisations so they can offer activities that help improve wellbeing. Alongside the digital offering the company have run a number of free events in local parks to provide a a space for families to come together to form a community around positive experiences including storytelling, nature arts and crafts, yoga and mindfulness, campfire cooking and nature activities. The company are also providing free sessions for parents to improve their wellbeing away from their families. The company have run a series of free yoga programs and Forest Bathing programs too. Overall the company has had over 15000 unique visitors to the website to use the materials. The company has engaged approximately 1000 people in the free events with over 90% reporting an improvement in wellbeing.

Consultation with stakeholders

The companies stakeholders are families and individuals living in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire Area. These stakeholders have been consulted on numerous occasions via email interaction and during consultations at events. Other stakeholders include, funders, partners. and directors: Regular meetings have taken place throughout the year with funders, conversations have included the best way to use funds and support our user group stakeholders and plans for carrying this out. Directors meet four times per year to discuss strategy and finances. Regular meetings take place with partners to ensure high quality provision is taking place and reaching those who need it and benefit the most.

Directors' remuneration

Total directors remuneration - £2500 (this amount is included within the sub-contactors' cost of £2500 as per detailed in the accounts under cost of sales
