  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises the invoiced value of services provided by the company, net of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible Fixed Assets, other than freehold land, are stated at cost or valuation less depreciation and any provision for impairment. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost or valuation of fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following basis: Plant and Machinery 20% Straight Line Furniture & Fittings 20% Straight Line Motor Car 20% Straight Line No depreciation is provided on the company's freehold properties since in the opinion of the directors the expected useful lives are sufficiently long and the estimated residual values are sufficiently high that any such depreciation would be immaterial. The directors undertake an annual impairment review of those properties.

    Other accounting policies

    The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015)

Company activities and impact

The company runs a regular housing facilities to help the local residents to obtain housing requirements at reason costs. The housing facilities opens its doors in 2021 and since then has been providing the community with services that are required at costs which are so reason compared to other service providers. The way forward is the housing to obtain more housing facilities of its kinds to continue to support the community and increase its impact in the locality with more reasonable facilities.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are residents of and regular visitors to the housing of the surrounding area. The directors of the company have lived in community for many years and have developed the housing model based on their local knowledge and experience as residents of the locality. The director designed a questionnaire and asked all the residents and visitors of the area about their community experience and what kind of services they would expect to have in a community base organisation type of housing. Based on the responses, the director decided to develop a model of how to charge and help people who are visitors with reasonable costs for using the housing facilities. The researched contacted 80 households within the locality without transport facilities and how easy to locate the area with ease.
