1. Weekly advice and guidance service for Romanian families and UK organisations who need support in communicating with Romanian families. 2. Romanian Saturday school 3. Youth Club 4. 1:1 English courses 5. Romanian Community gatherings 6. Financial support for specific individuals in need 7. Support offered for local schools and councils who struggle to communicate with the Romanian families 8. Support for other Charities and CICs in Kent
Registered Romanians in Kent are over 20,000, there are also many who identify as British due to their dual nationality. Romanian is the third most spoken language in the UK after English and Polish. RO Kent support the Romanian and other Eastern European nationalities to integrate and navigate the UK system. Our Social purpose is to support the local community , in particular the Romanian community but not only. In total we supported around 500 people with various services, included around 3600 teaching hours. All our work is supplied by unpaid volunteers.
