Basis of preparing the financial statements |
The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The director considers this to be appropriate. At the year end, the director's loan to the company totalled £58,131. The director does not anticipate removing his support from the company. |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net sales of goods and services, excluding value added tax. |
Stocks |
Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items. |
Debtors |
Short term debtors are measured at the transaction price, less any impairment. |
Cash and cash equivalents |
Cash is represented by cash in hand and deposits with financial institutions repayable without penalty on notice of not more than 24 hours. Cash equivalents are highly liquid investments that mature in no more than three months from the date of acquisition and that are readily convertible to known amounts of cash with insignificant risk of change in value. |
