Company activities and impact

During the year the company continued its previous work focusing on adults who are managing mild to acute mental ill health. This was done via education, training, the arts, coaching and mentoring. The company has, despite the pandemic, continued to provide one to one coaching to a cohort of clients building on the Arts for Health programmes. The coaching offers clients the opportunity to identify new skills and strengths with a view to progressing new ideas for education, work and self development. The company continued to work and develop relationships with Plymouth organisations such as Plymouth Livewell (NHS), various mental Health teams in Plymouth, Plymouth adult social services, AOS, Outreach, STEPS, University of Plymouth and Plymouth College of Art - coaching and mentoring Plymouth University students. The company delivers Arts for Health for up to 35 participants and supports a number of volunteering roles.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are those attending arts classes and the coaching and mentoring sessions together with the volunteers and the company's directors. The company has a process of regular and frequent evaluation and feedback from users of its services. Following on from evaluation, feedback and discussion with members, the members continue to devise their own projects in accordance with their recovery needs.The company cross checks with members of outside health teams with whom members are linked to ensure that the correct approaches are considered and taken.the members, volunteers and the company 's directors all provide input into and influence the direction of the company's programmes.
