Company activities and impact

The CIC Dog Food Bank’s Activities and Impact In 2024, we ran a weekly dog food bank every Friday from 10 am to 11 am in the courtyard of The Richard Onslow, providing essential pet food to dog owners in need. Over time, we realised that travel between locations was a challenge for some, so we adapted our approach to better serve the community. We partnered with the Cranleigh Food Bank Team, who operate from the Baptist Church Hall, and since then, we’ve moved to a monthly food bank and delivery service. Now, on the second Friday of every month, we set up a station at the Baptist Church Hall, reaching a broader audience while also delivering food to those who can’t attend in person. This shift has worked well, allowing us to provide more consistent support to those who need it most. So far, we’ve helped feed over 40 dogs, some of whom are regulars. In addition to our food banks, we also offer home deliveries for owners facing mobility or transport issues. For a few exceptional cases where dogs require specialist veterinary diets, we arrange Amazon deliveries to ensure they get the right food. We also stay connected with our community through active Facebook and Instagram pages, where we receive enquiries, share updates, and engage with supporters who want to help. Our mission remains simple: to make sure no dog goes hungry due to financial hardship. By adapting our services and working together with local partners, we’re making a real difference for pets and their owners.
