RAAPP-EMPOWER began to accept referrals to the service. Enabling people to communicate effectively in more positive ways. Reducing the emotional & mental stress caused by conflict. Increasing more collaborative teamwork in workplaces.
In the first year we liaised with local stakeholders to gather information on the most appropriate interventions / services to promote first. Whether to seek funding to deliver large pieces of work or build the service reputation on a case-by-case basis. We identified other stakeholders who we engaged with after this time frame. We consulted with Elisabeth Long, CEO, 1 Point counselling service, to seek advice on how our expertise could best benefit professionals and vulnerable people, Identified stakeholders who could assist us in building RAAP-Empower. Through this we were put in touch with ‘Proper Good’ a service helping new local social enterprises with relevant information workshops and networking. Over this period RAAP-EMPOWER CIC liaised with Lisa Forrest at ‘Proper Good’ to gather information about CIC's and network with other relevant services.
