Company activities and impact

Launched in May 2023, Creativity Box tackles economic barriers that prevent children from accessing the arts. We envision a world where every child can explore their creativity, develop positive mental health, strong relationships, and a vibrant community. Through engaging art experiences, we build self-belief and confidence, nurturing young people into resilient and positive adults. We champion equal access to the arts as a powerful tool for social change. We believe art ignites creativity, empowers young people to contribute meaningfully to society, and equips them with transferable skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Our mission is multifaceted: Empowering Young Minds: We use arts education to support, improve, and promote educa-tion in the UK. Arts for All: We provide leisure activities for young people facing challenges due to age, disa-bility, or socioeconomic circumstances, fostering positive experiences through artistic explora-tion. Reaching the Marginalised: We target areas with limited arts access, engaging the marginalised youth in inspiring and sustainable programs. In less than a year, we've achieved significant milestones: Thriving Workshops: We run a successful monthly program with 25 regular participants. Creative Expression: We delivered a well-received 6-week cooking program and themed art workshops (e.g., Black History Month, National Conservation Day). Community Collaboration: We partnered with Planet Mercy youth club to improve mental health through art, delivered an Arts HAF program for Oldham Council, and held Storytime sessions to encourage reading and writing as emotional outlets. Mental Wellbeing: We integrated positive mental health techniques into workshops. Inclusive Outreach: We partnered with Planet Mercy Rochdale to bring art to refugee and mi-grant youth, and led a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths (STEAM) project with Oldham youth. Volunteer Opportunities: We provide skill-building volunteer training. Creativity Box is dedicated to levelling the playing field, ensuring all young people can experience the transformative power of the arts.
