Company activities and impact

Shakespeare's Kids has been actively engaged in serving the youth of Cumbernauld and its surrounding areas for thirteen years, offering child-centred programmes rooted in literature, film and drama. Shakespeare's Kids fosters strong community relationships by providing an inclusive and cost-effective programme to children within the local community. All participating children actively work towards qualifications through the Youth Scotland H15 programme and the Kelvin College Community Achievement Programme, further enhancing their personal and educational development.

Additionally, our Ambassador Programme has replaced the former Children's and Young People's Board, providing young people with leadership opportunities, mentorship roles and a voice in shaping the future of Shakespeare's Kids.
