In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. We delivered brass lessons to over 150 primary school students in ten state schools over the South West. Through our lessons, we foster musical skills, confidence, and teamwork in young learners, supporting their educational development and personal growth. Beyond the classroom, our programme contributes to the wellbeing of children by offering them a creative outlet, promoting discipline and perseverance, and enhancing their sense of achievement. Our students also have opportunities to join local music groups, further embedding them in their community’s musical life. Additionally, BandStars CIC actively supports local music ensembles by nurturing the next generation of brass players, helping to sustain and develop the UK's rich tradition of community music-making. Many of our students go on to perform at school concerts and public events, bringing live music to a wide range of audiences and enriching cultural life in the local area.
