FEATHERS TEENS CIC HAS OFFERED SUPPORT TO TEENAGERS AFFECTED BY NEURODIVERGENCE AND MENTAL ILL HEALTH, AND THEIR FAMILIES, IN LINCOLNSHIRE. WE HAVE RUN 2-3 SESSIONS EACH WEEK, WHERE WE HAVE PROVIDED PEER SUPPORTED SESSIONS, ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS. EACH SESSION BENEFITED OUR COMMUNITY BY ALLOWING PARTICIPANTS TO MEET OTHERS WITH SHARED IDENTITIES, LEARN AND DEVELOP ESSENTIAL SKILLS, UNDERSTAND THEMSELVES BETTER, AND REDUCED SOCIAL ISOLATION. WE COLLABORATED WITH OTHER LOCAL ORGANISATIONS IN VARIOUS COMMUNITY PROJECTS, WHICH PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES TO ALL INVOLVED WHILST ALSO BENEFITING THE WIDER COMMUNITY.
