Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 May 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Company activities and impact

The company provides activities and facilities for young people in and around Christchurch by fundraising for and running a youth music program. The facilities include: Fully equipped recording studio. Cafe style youth club area. Rehearsal space. In the past year the company has engaged with over one hundred young people from all social, economic and ethnic backgrounds and has facilitated a safe, fun and friendly environment for them three evenings a week.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are the young people in the 13 - 21 age group who primarily reside in the BH23 postal code area. Consultation with the stakeholders is an ongoing process as we engage with them on a weekly basis and develop activities and facilities based around the feedback gathered from them.
