Jess Lovibond Therapeutic Services CIC (JLTS) provided holistic therapy services and support to children and their families in the Medway and Swale communities who have suffered Domestic Abuse or other Adverse Childhood Experiences that have had or are having a significant impact on the child’s ability to thrive. During the 2023/24 financial year JLTS provided our bespoke Time-to-Talk service for schools at no cost for 20 children. JLTS also provided our Holistic Therapeutic Services support to 9 children and families, and our bespoke Peer-to-Peer Domestic Abuse service to 4 individuals. Our services were provided at a subsidised rate to ensure we were able to support a greater number of families. Throughout the year JLTS published two original illustrated Therapeutic Stories and began developing JLTS Story Sacks based around our Therapeutic Stories. Our Therapeutic Stories are sent free of charge to clients who would benefit from their use. They are also used as part of our Time-to-Talk service.
JLTS’s stakeholders include the Directors, Volunteers and clients that benefit from the Company’s services. Following completion of delivering our services all of our clients, including individuals, children, families and professional staff, are encouraged to complete a feedback form or evaluation questionnaire, which we are able to use to take note of what we are doing well and if any changes/improvements are required. Our Directors and Volunteers also regularly communicate and discuss ideas for improvements that can be made.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £3,865. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
