Diesel AK CIC provides martial arts training to a wide section of the community, with a focus on promoting physical and mental well-being, discipline, and community engagement. Key activities include: - Conducting affordable martial arts classes for individuals of all backgrounds, including discounted classes for women and children to encourage greater participation in combat sports for mental and physical health benefits. - Organizing ladies-only classes and jiujitsu competitions to foster a safe and empowering environment for female participants. - Offering reduced-rate training to full-time students, NHS workers, key workers, police, fire service personnel, military personnel, and other essential workers as a means of giving back to the community. - Providing specialized support and training for individuals with mental and physical challenges, ensuring inclusivity in our martial arts programs. - Collaborating with local school (Plumcroft Primary School) to encourage more engagement in physical activities for children. - Using surplus funds to improve facilities, expand outreach efforts, and provide employment opportunities to students and the local community. Through these activities, Diesel AK CIC continues to positively impact the community by fostering a sense of belonging, discipline, and self-improvement among its members.
Diesel AK CIC regularly consults with its stakeholders, including students, parents, local community leaders, schools, and law enforcement agencies. We gather feedback through: - Direct conversations and surveys with students and parents regarding the accessibility and effectiveness of our programs. - Collaboration with local schools to identify youth who would benefit from our programs. - Engagement with community partners to ensure our services align with the needs of the wider population.
