Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Turnover |
Turnover is based on rent and service charges receivable during the year. |
Tangible fixed assets |
Fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation |
Depreciation is provided so as to write off the cost of fixed assets less their estimated residual value over their anticipated useful lives:- |
Fixtures and fittings | 10% reducing balance basis |
Motor Vehicle | 20% reducing balance basis |
Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. |
