The Grove DIY CIC is a community use skatepark, allotments and gardens offering a space for both local residents and wider skate community across London. During the financial year 2023–2024 we: -Built new facilities for the skatepark -Improved garden facilities, including fitting a water pump -Worked up a business plan for potential new spaces -Hosted workshops in our gardens -Grown vegetables and produce for the community
The company's stakeholders are the local residents and visitors to The Grove DIY. The directors of the company are also included in this demographic as residents of neighbouring South London boroughs and regular visitors to GDIY, and consult with stakeholders through in-person conversations regarding what new facilities people would like to see aswell as how to improve and maintain the space.Often the facilities that we provide are influenced in the design stage by consultation with visitors to the space. We also engage in consultation through online comments and private messages on social media, which is an open forum for our community to engage with and criticise our work.
