    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents amounts receivable for services provided.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets other than freehold land are stated at cost or valuation less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost or valuation less estimated residual value of each asset over its expected useful life, as follows Computer Equipment 25% Reducing Balance Office Equipment 33.3% Reducing Balance

Company activities and impact

The intention is to introduce a major framework that supports the development of sporting organisations in the production of Social Impact, Economic growth, and sustainability. The club project is designed to engage the Social Sector and academia through Further and Higher Education and the Business Sector who all contribute to and benefit from the involvement in the project. We are working with partners in providing a small conference that outlines the various steps that will generate a transferable program of work within Sheffield and the region.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company has been working with various funding organisations including Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), and Mettle Way Services CIC. Establishing Community Sports Organisations (CSOs) that deliver Health and Wellbeing Hubs for the benefit of local communities. Coaching Communities is now engaged with SHU, Sheffield City Council, and numerous local health and young people services. We are also currently involved in discussion with Timebanking, Made Open and The Challenge Hub, all Social Enterprises to create an economic model that encourages community actors in operating these programmes and rewards the participating volunteers. All of which generates a sustainable model that is self-supporting and sustainable.

Directors' remuneration

Directors Consultancy Fees totalled £10,000 during the year. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for the director's loss of office, which need to be disclosed.
