1.The academic community of Tibetology and Himalayan Studies which is a small niche sector of Buddhist studies. Through our efforts we have helped translate 25 texts that otherwise would not have been available for non-Tibetan speakers to access. We have been congratulated by the University of Oxford for our efforts and have presented at seminars on our findings. 2.Buddhist Practitioners – Through our translations some published and some sent to Buddhist organisations in the UK and further afield we have helped deepened the understanding of what at times can be a complicated religion. It has been noted that we also act as an point of inspiration as we have focussed on many biographies of Buddhist saints which many of our readers enjoy to read the saints that they are connected to through their faith. 3.Non-Buddhists who are interested in aspects of Buddhism such as mindfulness and loving kindness. 4.Hard of sight. We are in the process of recording audibles for all the texts that we have translated to allow greater access to the wider community focussing on the hard of sight. We have also found that more people in general across the globe are listening which is positive. 5.One of our friends, a Tibetan Refugee here in the UK, has also been giving free Tibetan language lessons to anyone who is interested.
