1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES
1a. Basis Of Accounting
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with FRS102 section 1A - The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006 .
1b. Depreciation
Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives.

1c. Pension Costs
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. The pension charge represents the amounts payable by the company to the fund in respect of the year.
1d. Goodwill
Goodwill arising in connection with the acquisition of businesses is capitalised and amortised over its estimated economic life to a maximum of 5 years. Goodwill is reviewed annually for impairment if events or changes in circumstances indicate that the carrying value may not be recoverable.
1e. Leasing Commitments
Assets obtained under hire purchase contracts and finance leases are capitalised as tangible fixed assets. Assets acquired under finance leases are depreciated over the shorter of the lease term and their useful lives. Assets acquired under hire purchase contracts are depreciated over their useful lives. Finance leases are those where substantially all of the benefits and risks of ownership are assumed by the company. Obligations under such agreements are included in creditors net of the finance charge allocated to future periods. The finance element of the rental payment is charged to the profit and loss account so as to produce a constant periodic rate of charge on the net obligation outstanding in each period.
Rentals applicable to operating leases where substantially all of the benefits and risks of ownership remain with the lessor are charged to profit and loss account on a straight line basis.
1f. Leases
Assets held under finance leases and hire purchase contracts are capitalised in the balance sheet at their fair value and depreciated over their expected useful lives. The interest element of leasing payments represents a constant proportion of the capital balance outstanding and is charged to the profit and loss account over the period of the lease. All other leases are regarded as operating leases and the payments made under them are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the lease term.

9. RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS
Mr T J Sanders and Mrs E Sanders are the directors of the company. During the year the total amount advanced to the company by the directors, Mr T J Sanders and Mrs E Sanders, totalled £47,934 (2023: £48,436). The total amount repaid by the company to the directors, Mr T J Sanders and Mrs E Sanders, during the year was £47,784 (2023: £47,926). At the balance sheet date the balance owing to Mr T J Sanders and Mrs E Sanders in respect of their interest-free directors loan account was £735 (2023: £585).
