The company runs World Food Cafe, a welcoming space for refugees and asylum seekers to connect, find friends, and enjoy coffee. Since opening in August 2023, the cafe has benefited the community through monthly cultural events, bazaars showcasing refugee cultures, and workshops on topics like welfare benefits, English language schools, and British culture and history
The company’s are refugees and asylum seekers in South London to integrate into their host community. We ask everyone using the World Food Cafe for the first time to fill in a short questionnaire about their experience with the Cafe . This has helped us to build up a profile of what refugees and asylum seekers need.
