Year Ending: 30 November 2024

Company activities and impact

Black Tri Tribe has undertaken various activities that have significantly benefited the community. 2020 – A Step Towards Inclusivity and Liberation In response to the race riots and the Black Lives Matter movement, we began organising walks exclusively for Black women. These walks were designed to provide a space for peace, liberation, and community connection. This initiative not only created a sense of belonging but also offered an opportunity for physical and mental well-being amidst challenging times. Wider Community Engagement Through our efforts, we have reached over 2,000 individuals, fostering meaningful connections and promoting inclusivity. Additionally, we have actively engaged with 78 schools across London and Brighton, encouraging participation and spreading awareness about our initiatives. We also partnered with 10 London Boroughs to extend our reach and amplify our impact within local communities. 2025 – Expanding Opportunities for Young People Looking forward, we are hosting our first Easter holiday children's camp in preparation for our Brighton Triathlon. This camp is designed to inspire and prepare young people to participate in sports, promoting healthy lifestyles and teamwork. The Brighton Triathlon will accommodate up to 200 participants, while the London Triathlon will provide opportunities for up to 400 participants. These events aim to encourage physical fitness, confidence, and community spirit across diverse groups. Black Tri Tribe remains committed to fostering inclusivity, promoting well-being, and creating opportunities for all through its activities, leaving a lasting positive impact on the community.

Consultation with stakeholders

Black Tri Tribe values its stakeholders, recognising their importance in shaping and improving our activities. Our primary stakeholders include our swim students and triathlon participants, whose engagement and feedback are vital to the success of our initiatives. Stakeholder Consultation Following our triathlon events, we sought feedback from participants as well as stakeholders who assisted in organising these events. This consultation involved surveys and direct discussions, allowing us to gather valuable insights and perspectives on their experiences. Actions Taken in Response to Feedback In response to the feedback received, we implemented several improvements to enhance future events. These include: Additional Signage: Ensuring clearer directions and smoother navigation throughout the event. Video Route Plans: Providing participants with detailed video guides to familiarise themselves with the course in advance. Improved Transition Area: Optimising the layout and functionality of transition zones to streamline participants' experience. By actively engaging with our stakeholders and acting on their input, the company demonstrates its commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive, and well-organised events that meet the needs of the community.
