Provision of an independent 5 to 6 roomed property situated in London for women in the UK who are unable to return home due to sexual violence By providing a property where women can stay it will benefit the community affected by sexual violence to ensure they have a safe space to live in temporarily where further support and guidance can be provided This will remove them from the ongoing sexual violence and prevent further incidents from taking place until other relevant support is in place through the help of the team based at the property Support will be available to these women 24 hours a day Safeguarding will be put in place to ensure that these women are kept away from their attackers and further assistance sought from the police or social services so relevant procedures are followed The safeguarding needs will also be met by working in connection with local social services and once again ensuring the victim is kept safe This accommodation will have a ripple effect of benefits by helping women to not only get help with finding further accommodation but also in helping them to return to employment or education and helping raise awareness to the wider community which can then enable the wider community to identify possible sexual violence and allow them access to the service for guidance and advice on how to best help the victim
