Company activities and impact

The company uses theatre to support the LGBTQIA+ community in the UK, with a particular focus on young people and people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds due to financial, social and cultural barriers. In the financial year 2023-2024, the company’s activities has benefited the community in the following ways: - The company created a series of theatre workshops aimed at both young people and adults that focus on inclusivity and mental health. - The company premiered a performance involving 4 LGBTQIA+ artists exploring the mental weight of the pandemic with 102 audience members, building a new collaboration with the Red Lion Theatre. - The company participated to the Pleasance’s Scratch night with a performance aimed at audiences affected by the cost of living crisis, collaborating with 6 emerging LGBTQIA+ artists: the artists involved reached 200 audience members and received feedback on the development of the show. - The company started the development of two new pieces aligned with the mission (raising awareness and empowerment of underrepresented audiences).
