With raising awareness, families with children with additional needs are supported and have a greater sense of belonging in the community. And, through sessions with the parents, we have/will continue to break the stereotypical ideologies and the stigma that is attached to having a child with SEND. The after-school provision has given the children a place they could go to learn about achieving independence and adopting good manners and morals. There are no other local establishments that cater to these children so the provision has benefitted the children and the parents.
