Company activities and impact

Carers support and Wellbeing supports the carers and families of people with a substance misuse issue. We provide one- to-one and group support to promote the carers mental and emotional wellbeing and wellbeing activities to enable the carers to connect with other carers in a similar position, to learn coping strategies and to re-engage within the wider community from whom they may have been estranged.

Consultation with stakeholders

We commission biannual feedback surveys to ensure the service continues to meet the needs of the families and carers who use the service. Our facilitator at a group sessions regularly requests feedback concerning the educational materials provided in the group sessions. After each wellbeing activity the attendees complete feed back against the Warwick scale to show whether the wellbeing sessions are achieving their proposed outcomes and also requesting suggestions for future events.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £7,320 This was paid to Maxine Kerr for Facilitating Support Groups and providing one-to-one support. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
