Company activities and impact

This year has seen the conitnuation of laying strong foundations for our work. therehas also been the expansion of servcies offered to the sector through a grabt from Norwich City COuncil to deliver a support offer to social enterprises in Norwich. FUSE also continues to work with the Empowering Communities Partnership bringing key social enterprise insights and representation to a wider VCSE (Voulntary, Community and Social Enterprise) secto offer. Through these support offers we: supported more than 20 exisiting social enterprises supported 14 individuals towards starting their own social enterprise enabled 3 new social enterprises to register and start operating deliverd training on a wide range of topics and peer support events to over 80 individuals supported social enterprise in Norwich to access over £130k in additional grant funding FUSE is continuing to shape and influence locally having a tangible impact towards our aims of a more inclusive economy, sustainable enterprise and a fairer tomorrow.

Consultation with stakeholders

FUSE Norwich has a wide range of stakeholders who are consulted and involved regularly in the development and delivery of our offer. our network of social enterprises is continuing to grow and we have multiple ways for the to engage with FUSE via events, social media, newsletters and surveys. The board of non-executive directors has continued toi meet quarterly to review reports, manage risk registers, set the strategic direction of FUSE and have final say and oversight of FUSE.
