We have worked on 4 funded projects during the year to October 31st 2024. These have been based on three programmes; Chat ‘n’ Box 2024 which was to support young people who are or are heading towards involvement in the youth justice system. Young people at risk of exclusion from school and hence increasing the possibility of being groomed or into anti-social behaviour and criminal activities. We took young people on an outward bounds day to Wales which was an excellent day out and another group to ninja warriors in Leicester and another group to Nottingham School of Boxing. We delivered Go parks 2024 which is our third year of delivering this project. We are now setting up contracted work with two schools. And we still deliver our Active Families which is to support families training and learning together. All our activities are based around boxing and integrated with personal and social development. We worked with: 3 schools 3 community centres 2 boxing clubs We have been supported by a number of funders and support organisations including: Awards for All, Positive Youth Foundation, Coventry City Council Hub team, Postcode Local Trust and Heart of England Community Foundation Participation: 373 individual people have participated in our projects through the year. 279 people have participated in multiple sessions 94 participated in 1 session only or one off activity Age range of participants: Under 18 – 311 participants 19 to 25 – 47 participants Over 25 – 15 participants Gender participation; Female – 82 Male - 291 Other - 0 We have had some tremendously encouraging feedback from participants and parents/carers as well. Across the various projects we have delivered in the year to October 31st 2023, 60 participants have given us feedback. Do you feel more confident having participated in the boxing programme? We have consulted with participants at the end of projects (123 participants giving feedback 33% of total participants) to see what has been of benefit and what could be improved. One area that came up was a music programme which we added into one of our projects and to do more 1-2-1 support which we have started adding into our work. We have had excellent feedback on the coaches again and we are now directly contracting with schools to deliver programmes in school.
The aggregate amount of emoluments paid to or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services for coaching, mentoring and management was £35,594.75 There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed
