Led by artist Isra Elhag, Sudafest CIC ran two free youth arts projects in Emerson’s Green, funded by Emerson’s Green Town Council. Firstly, an 'art for well-being' workshop targeted 15 young people aged 6-13 from diverse backgrounds, meeting weekly at Emerson’s Green village hall for visual art activities designed to support their well-being and foster a sense of achievement. Secondly, a series of art workshops engaged young people aged 10-16 from Emerson’s Green and surrounding areas, providing them with opportunities to explore themes of home, identity, and belonging through art, with a culminating community exhibition showcasing their creations.
