In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. Etiket Social CIC focused on promoting community well-being and social inclusion through innovative programmes, with a key six-month project aimed at empowering single parents and improving their emotional well-being. The organisation delivered workshops on digital literacy, financial management, and career development, boosting participants’ confidence and employability. Local events fostered community dialogue and collaboration, while mental health campaigns and support groups offered vital resources. Initiatives for young people provided mentorship and creative opportunities. These efforts addressed skill gaps, reduced social isolation, and enhanced well-being, demonstrating Etiket Social CIC’s commitment to meaningful and lasting community impact.
Etiket Social CIC's stakeholders include single parents, local community members, volunteers, staff, partner organisations, and funding bodies. Stakeholder consultation was a key element in the delivery of the six-month project for single parents, which ran from December 2023 to June 2024. The project aimed to provide targeted support, including workshops on financial management, career development, and mental well-being, tailored to the unique challenges faced by single-parent households. Stakeholders were consulted through a combination of surveys, focus groups, and one-to-one discussions held at key points during the project. Feedback was actively sought to understand participants’ experiences, assess the relevance of the activities provided, and identify areas where additional support might be beneficial. In response to the feedback, Etiket Social CIC introduced evening sessions to accommodate parents who found daytime activities challenging due to childcare commitments. Additionally, the scope of financial management workshops was expanded to include advice on accessing local resources and benefits, as many participants expressed a need for this information. Suggestions for peer support groups led to the creation of informal monthly meet-ups, which have since been incorporated as a continuing feature of Etiket Social CIC's programmes. The insights gained from this project are being used as a stepping stone to improve future services. Plans are underway to replicate this model in other community groups while further refining activities based on ongoing consultations with stakeholders.
