    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives: Land & buildings 10% Straight Line Basis Plant & machinery 15% on Reducing Balance or 20% on Straight Line Basis Fixtures & fittings 15% on Reducing Balance or 25% on Straight Line Basis Computer equipment 25% Straight Line Basis

Company activities and impact

During 2024 we have delivered over 30,000 worth of hours of training and work experience to people with support needs or those marginalised in society. We employed 6 people with support needs, paying real living wage of above. We increased our potted plant production by 40%, creating more opportunities for work experience and employment for our team. We welcomed a cohort of younger workers to share their expertise and brought fresh energy into the organisation. we have continued to welcome the wider community onto our flower farm, running open days, and volunteering days. We were supported by over 500 individuals during 2024.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders include service users, their families and carers, referrers, funders, customers, volunteers, staff and the wider community. we consult with the stakeholders formally and informally through reviews annually and daily contact. We have an ethos of openness, collaboration and continual improvement and encourage input and influence from all stakeholders to help shape an organisation that is relevant, innovative and responsibly to individual needs.

Directors salaries and dividends (capped at 30% of after tax profits) are itemised in the accounts
