Company activities and impact

Blue Planet Society has used social media outreach, international news outlets, petitioning and sharing of relevant research to engage stakeholders with the ocean and specifically: Increased knowledge of coastal and marine environments and the challenges they face. Raised awareness of marine conservation issues and provided opportunities for communities to get involved. Providing communities with opportunities to engage directly with the marine environment to improve wellness. Listened to and collaborate with coastal communities to understand their on-the-ground issues as well as the balance of the marine environment.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders include Blue Planet Society’s followers on social media, email subscribers and petition signatories. These audiences have been consulted via daily communication through social platforms and less frequent communications via email. Feedback received via the organisations social media platforms and emails have been acted upon in terms of requests for insight and support.
