During the financial year, Minds At War CIC has made meaningful contributions to the mental health and well-being of veterans, service personnel, young people, and vulnerable members of the community, particularly in and around Watford. The organization has focused its efforts on early intervention, crisis prevention, and long-term mental health support through therapeutic, social, and physical engagement. One of the core activities during this period was the operation of a 24/7 telephone support line. This confidential helpline has provided immediate assistance to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, including those at risk of self-harm or suicide. The service has proven to be a lifeline for many, particularly those affected by PTSD, anxiety, depression, and loneliness
During the financial year, Minds At War CIC continued to deliver valuable services aimed at improving the mental health and overall well-being of veterans, service personnel, young people, and the wider community in Watford and surrounding areas. The organisation operated a 24-hour helpline throughout the year, providing immediate and confidential mental health support to individuals experiencing crises. The helpline served as a lifeline to those at risk of self-harm, suicide, or emotional distress, and was primarily used by veterans and young people dealing with the effects of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and social isolation. The cumulative impact of these activities has been the creation of a more connected, informed, and supported community, where individuals feel empowered to seek help and take steps towards improving their mental health.
