We mainly dedicated the year with the production of a Peace Photography Guide and website in French, English and Spanish from writing to leading with the designer and translating in 3 languages and managing the 26 project contributors and the volunteers involved. It free for people to download from the Imaging Peace website. https://imagingpeace.org/index.php/peace-photography-guide/. It is a 122-page resource examines how images and image-making can be used to foster peace, dialogue and non-violent civil resistance. Co-authored by our founding director Ingrid Guyon with design by our web designer and graphic designer Diego Echeverry This guide explores what a photography of peace consists of. It critically discusses the ethics and practicalities of community-engaged and participatory visual peace methods and features 26 peace photography activities. The accompanying website contains case studies of 26+ contributing projects and we plan to continue adding more.We hope it will be useful for community, peace and visual practitioners and researchers who are interested in exploring how photography can be harnessed to transform conflict, navigate difference, foster healing and agency, build visibility and connection and spark peace imaginaries. 'Peace Photography: A Guide' is a product of Imaging Peace, my The Leverhulme Trust Fellowship research project based Department of War Studies King's College London with support from The VEM Network. Translation of the Guide has been made possible by Humanity United. It has been launched in February 2025 and had been downloaded in 50 countries in 2 weeks by academics, researchers, photographers, NGO staff, communication specialists, peacebuilders, facilitators, community workers, art therapists, psychologists, and more. We co-produced a community project in Zaragoza with our Spain branch with an online exhibition and four public exhibitions of 92 portraits that had a huge impact in the local community building local network and strengthening community bonds, attracting future projects in the named neighborhoods. https://www.fotosynthesiscommunity.org/es/somos-zaragoza/ https://www.insideoutproject.net/en/explore/group-action/somos-zaragoza https://www.insideoutproject.net/en/news/somos-zaragoza-retratos-y-voces-del-gancho https://www.insideoutproject.net/es/explore/group-action/somos-zaragoza-voces-y-retratos-de-valdespartera-1 https://www.fotosynthesiscommunity.org/es/voces-y-rostros-de-valdespartera/ We have delivered a photovoice for evaluation staff training and implemented a fieldwork project for Save the Children Spain in Almeria, Malaga, Catalonia and Canary Island using some of our UK resources with 34 young migrants and 14 Save the Children staff members.
