Company activities and impact

Prestwich Pride holds events for families and residents in the local community to educate and celebrate people on celebrating love across the LGBTQ+ community. We ensure there is something suitable for all ages and identities to come and join us, and many of our activities are designed to raise money for charities. We run collaborations with local businesses, artists and photographers such as window illustrations and raffles all designed to generate money to support a selection of Manchester-based charities. Additionally, we work to showcase emerging and existing talent from marginalised communities, including the queer community and people of colour. In 2022-23, we raised a total of £3754.64 In 2023-24, we raised a total of £7822.08 In 2024-25, we raised a total of £6053.00

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders include local residents and business owners as well as collaborators to help us run the event, including performers, DJs, artists, and photographers. There is no formal consultation process. We do, however, receive feedback via Skiddle on a selection of our events (Skiddle invites feedback from customers) and we receive feedback on our events via our social media and email channels – to date, this has been largely positive feedback and thanks so no significant action has been required to date.
