COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

THE OLIVE HUT CIC

Company Number: 14984079 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 July 2024

Company activities and impact

We have been running 1:1 mentoring sessions for young people who either adopted, in foster care or under special guardianship. This has included meeting with them in school and within the local community, with some activities. This has helped them attain a better mental health and wellbeing, which has impacted different parts of life - this includes school, home life and peer relationships.

Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders are schools, parents/carers and young people. Over the course of the year we have held meetings with schools and parents and carers on how they feel our service can most benefit the young people we work with. We have done sessions outside of a school setting and made some more activity based due to these consultations. We have also made our programme 6 months instead of 3 months With consultation from our young people, we have allowed there to be a more relational side to our mentoring. We responded by extending our mentoring programme for 3 additional months

Directors' remuneration

Fees of £1,150 were paid to a director in the year.

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
