COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

Year Ending: 30 April 2024

Company activities and impact

2023/24 has seen many opportunities and chellenges - probably the same for most social enterprises and charities. We continued to build on the strong partnerships we have developed over the past few years offering our knowledge, contacts and support to both larger and smaller organisations and they have continued to support us in return. The demise of GMVCO has shown how important this is. Our partnerships with larger organisations has increased our reach and we now deliver not only out own programmes, workshops and events but also work in conjuction with several other organisations. This has allowed us to give additional support to many of our stakeholders. Some of our main partnerships have been with: - CVS Bolton - Proper Good Bolton - Sector 3 Stockport - Proper Good Stockport - BLGClub - Bolton University - Alliance University - FreeLanceHer - Action Together Handbags & Briefcases continues to deliver monthly sessions that are either free of charge or are very low cost to enable women in our communities to come together and share their opportunities and challenges and listen and learn. Proud that this network has been supporing others since 2008. We didn't apply for any funding this year although it is an area of interest for me and my fellow Directors. Getting a balance between funding and trading is important to us. Opportunities to increase our reach came from many organisations including the SheInspires Foundation which we are proud to support and be an ambassador for. We also support: - Bolton Lads and Girls Club - The Bereavement Cafe - Kings Church - iPoint - BackUp Northwest - Funding Futures - Adullam Homes Our target group remains the sae; women from all communities, cultures, ages, backgrounds and beliefs. This is always achieved but depending on the geopgraphical area we deliver in the mix can vary wildly.

Consultation with stakeholders

As mentioned above our stakeholders continue to develop and grow. We always work in partnership and we always talk, consult and respond to feedback from any of our stakeholders. Apart from the above partners and stakeholders approximately 325 individual women have been supported through our on and offline training programmes.
