The Attic by DH has provides a space for people to access affordable second hand goods. Then all money raised through this is used to support people that have escaped domestic abuse, left the care system or those living in poverty. We take referrals from the local authority and other agencies and provide goods for people in need for free. in the last 12 months we have: - provided £2,500 worth of household goods for free to those in need - provided £5,400 worth of clothing for free to families with children - distributed over 300 Christmas gifts to children living in poverty - provided over 200 care leavers with essentials for starting in the first home - provided £500 worth of school uniform to families in need - supplied a further £1,500 worth of heaters, hot water bottles and blankets - helped 25 rough sleepers with tents and other supplies.
