Company activities and impact

Building a social media platform that has regular input about neurodivergent conditions and how to support them in a positive and strength-based manner. Through Tik Tok, Facebook and instagram. The posts are aimed at families, both adults and children, alongside professionals, too. Such as educational settings for children, where I have done several public speaking events to talk about my neurodivergent family. Our main mission is to enable neurodivergent individuals to be empowered, inspired, supported, and given the same rights to thrive, not just survive. Through meetings, podcasts, the community library, social media posts, events, walk and talk, involving other professionals, and stalls, I’m supporting individuals to build their own toolkits. This approach will ensure that awareness and understanding continue to be shared, hopefully further supporting more individuals. This has and will continue to be supported by business sponsors, donations, stalls, events, raffles, tombolas, and merchandise, providing and building a community service. Our business's mascot bear is shared and available for everyone to buy, further promoting neurodiverse awareness and an accountability that they support neurodiverse individuals. The Bear supports creating a community of understanding and acceptance. It will further support making connections to support personal development, family support, education, social interactions, and mental health and well-being. The opportunity to branch and list different resources, support services, and network links best suited to the family and their needs, from medically trained professionals in that field, but also mental health, behaviour, parent courses, centers to seek sensory input, dietry support - the list is endless. As a neurodivergent adult working in education, with experience working with families, living in a neurodiverse family, and our journey, I know I can have and already have had a positive impact on others. Understanding that these conditions don’t need to limit anyone, it doesn’t have to be hard, It's about early intervention, the right support given to the individuals and families, further increasing understanding of everyone else around them.
