Company activities and impact

During the Financial year 2023-2024, Life of Her CIC focused on empowering young females ages 8-25, by providing mentorship, educational programs and leadership training opportunities. We have successfully implemented a variety of projects designed to build self confidence, develop their leadership skills and also offer career exploration. A big part of our work also includes raising the awareness of violence among women and girls. During our workshops we have discussions on healthy relationships, consent and knowing how to recognise and prevent gender based violence., These sessions really helped our young women understand their rights, build confidence and feel more comfortable speaking out for themselves and others that may be at risk of violence this was also done through role play. Many of our older cohort have become seasonal workers contributing to our programmes and helping support our younger participants. This not only gives them work experience but also created a supportive community where education and advocacy thrive.
