Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Going Concern |
The financial statement have been prepared on the going concern concept basis as the directors believe adequate cash resources will be available to cover the company's requirements for working capital and capital expenditure for at least the next twelve months. This assertion has been made based on the continued support of the company's shareholders. |
Turnover |
Turnover is measured as the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates and value added tax. The following criteria must also be met before revenue is recognised: |
Revenue from the rendering of services is recognised in the period in which the services are provided, when the amount of revenue can be measured reliably and it is probable that the Company will receive the consideration due. |
Tangible fixed assets |
Computer equipment | - |
Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. |
The assets' residual values, useful lives and depreciation methods are reviewed, and adjusted prospectively if appropriate, or if there is an indication of a significant change since the last reporting date. |
Financial instruments |
The company only enters into basic financial instruments transactions that result in the recognition of financial assets and liabilities like trade and other debtors, trade and other creditors. |
The basic financial instruments are initially recognised at transaction price and subsequently carried at amortised cost. |

Taxation |
Taxation for the year comprises deferred tax only. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
Deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
Research and development |
Expenditure on research and development is written off in the year in which it is incurred. |
