Notes to the Financial Statements

for the Period Ended 30 June 2024

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

Focusing on the employee turnover, improving retention and reducing departure. HRLS did not have a full time employee over the past tax return as we wanted to strip back the business focus and grow at a slower rate where we could afford contractors rather than an employed staff. In the past HRLS has tracked employee turnover data to identify trends and patterns, conduct exit interviews to understand the reasons for leaving and gather feedback. Going forward with looking at growth for the next year, HRLS have looked at retention strategies such as competitive compensation and benefits, career development opportunities, work-life balance, employee recognition and positive work environment.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Defining what constitutes a tangible asset for the company and how its protected such as property, equipment and inventory. All of the company physical assets are to be used for the business purposes only. Employees are responsible for maintaining their assigned company assets in good working order and reporting any damages or maintenance needs promptly. Unauthorised use or damage to company assets will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
