Principal activities of the company

Temple Well-Being supports and promotes the emotional well-being and mental health of children, young people, adults and professionals teaching mindfulness, relaxation techniques and self-regulation strategies to help reduce stress, trauma responses and violence. With 13 years experience providing holistic and therapeutic support through youth work, coaching, mentoring, CBT & talking therapy. We facilitate bespoke programs of support, creative well-being workshops, holiday clubs and youth sessions working in 1:1 and group settings in our well-being hub, schools and the community.

Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 30 June 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

Company activities and impact

Temple Well-Being supports and promotes the emotional well-being and mental health of children, young people, adults and professionals teaching mindfulness, relaxation techniques and self-regulation strategies to help reduce stress, trauma responses and violence. With 13 years experience providing holistic and therapeutic support through youth work, coaching, mentoring, CBT & talking therapy. We facilitate bespoke programs of support, creative well-being workshops, holiday clubs and youth sessions working in 1:1 and group settings in our well-being hub, schools and the community. The company set up in June 2022, but didn't begin offering their services until February 2023. During the financial year of 2023-2024, Temple Well-Being's activities benefited the community in the following ways: - Facilitated 1 Well-Being Warriors Workshop in the community impacting 40 young people aged 7-12. - Partnered up with Kirklees Council to provide the Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme funded by the Department for Education. During the Summer, Winter and Easter breaks we supported 41 young people aged 8-12 over a total of 20 days. - We've developed a partnership with Kirklees Youth Justice Service and were commissioned to deliver one of our programmes funded by the Mayors Serious Youth Violence Fund. We facilitated 23 ChillSkillz sessions to 17 young people aged 12-18 who are exposed to criminal and sexual exploitation, teaching emotional regulation, coping strategies and relaxation techniques. - Worked in 3 schools delivering 32 Relax Kids Well-Being Warriors and ChargeUp workshops to a total of 33 young people who were struggling with their emotions and behaviour. - Facilitated 3 workplace well-being workshops at Inset Days and Staff Away Days. 98 adults felt the benefits of de-stressing through mindfulness and relaxation. In total we've impacted 131 young people and 98 adults this year.

Temple Well-Being's stakeholders are: - The young people we support and their families - Funders / Grant providers - Volunteers/Staff - Schools - Local Authorities - Collaborative community organisations Our methods of consultation: - In person/virtual discussions to gather insights and build partnerships - Pre/Post Evaluation forms which informs our session planning - Feedback from young people, parents and professionals - Social media engagement using polls, asking questions and engaging in discussions to understand needs. - Case studies & Testimonials to collect stories from those impacted by our work to understand successes and areas for growth.
