Company activities and impact

General Description of the Companies Activities and Impact. Once again the last financial year has seen a steady increase in the use of the Barn as a community asset for the regular partnership groups and other community groups. Improvements to the building. Windows in the toilet and NCA have been replaced. One of the outside wooden panels has also been replaced Partnership Groups. The Friends of ofPhilips Park. Incredible Edible Prestwich Bury Greenwood Group Lancs Wildlife Trust National Cycling Academy (NCA) All groups have continued to thrive and grow, attracting more people from the local community. The Barn is now regularly used 6 days and sometimes 7 days a week Other users, The following groups have used either the classroom of one of the outside areas. Forest Schools. Lisa Stell, Therapeutic Forest (Twinkleboost) Spectrum Gaming Spectrum Gaming / Greater Manchester Autism and Therapeutic Forest have also held training sessions at the Barn. Well Being Groups. Calm at Home Calm at Work Uplift Unite Neuro in nature Others A children’s party Whitefield Environmental Forum Heaton Park Rangers LWT meetings A wedding ceremony was held at the Barn Prestwich Arts Festval Bury College students volunteer sessions Corporate Groups. This tend to do work in the wider park but use the Barn for toilets, tea making lunch etc Barclays Bank Environmental Agency The Mail Room

Representatives from IEPAD, the friends of Philips Park and Bury Greenwood Group are Board members. Regular discussion / consultation takes place with NCA and LWT
