The Diaspora County 48 Kenya (Global) CIC (DC48K) is a worldwide Kenyan Diaspora registered organisation that represents all the Kenyans living in Diaspora currently estimated at 4 million. DC48K is represented globally in all the eight geopolitical regions with Regional Coordinators in Africa, Asia, Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, North America, Oceania and South America. Our motto is We are Stronger Together! (www.dc48k.org) Diaspora County 48 Kenya in partnership with the State Department for Diaspora Affairs was pleased to to host the Diaspora Investment Conference 2023 (DIC 2023) that was held at KICC in Nairobi Kenya on December 13-15, 2023. This was an event of immense significance aimedI at fostering connections and collaboration between Kenyans in the Diaspora and their counterparts at home. DIC 2023 served as a platform for f dialoguc, knowledge sharing, and networking among Kenyans living abroad and those residing within the country. This was a great opportunity for businesses and investors seeking to tapo on the immense Kenyan Diaspora market composed of over 4 million Kenyans living in the Diaspora County 48 Kenya. The cherry on this cake was the presence of His Excellency, President Dr William Ruto who officially opened the Diaspora Investment Conference 2023.Diaspora County48 Kenya (Global) CIC continued to serve Kenyans living in diaspora as per its core objectives and mandate. The organisation carried out various activities for Kenyan communities in Africa, Asia, Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, North America, Oceania and South America regions. Evacuation of those in distress and repatriation of the deceased continues to be a major contribution of this organisation to the Kenyan community living abroad.
Diaspora County48 Kenya (Global) CIC has regular consultations with its stakeholders, who are Kenyans living abroad in across eight regions. The organisation holds weekly Global Executive Committee (GEC) meetings, Monthy Global Convention Committee (GCC) meetings and Annual General Members meeting (AGM). During these meetings variuos items are placed on the agenda and diliberated by the committee members. All matters of interest and concern to the general membership are addressed and communicated via the website, social media platforms such as Facebook, Telegram and WhatsApp. Through the use of these social media platforms, stakeholders are engaged and encouraged to air their views and concerns, which are then addressed by the leadership teams.
