For the year ending 31 July 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
The company has taken advantage of section 444(1) of the Companies Act 2006 and opted not to deliver to the registrar a copy of the company's Income and Expenditure Account.

Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
Labour Campaign For Human Rights Ltd. is a private company, limited by guarantee, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 08647264 . The registered office is 66 South Street, Taunton, TA1 3AF.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
These financial statements are presented in Sterling (£) and have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities - The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.
2.2. Turnover
Turnover represents amounts receivable from grants and membership fees, recognised when these are received.
2.3. Cash And Cash Equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents comprise cash in hand and call deposits, and other short-term highly liquid investments that are readily convertible to a known amount of cash and are subject to an insignificant risk of change in value.
2.4. Debtors
Short term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment losses for bad and doubtful debts. Loans and other financial assets are initially recognised at transaction price including any transaction costs and subsequently measured at amortised cost determined using the effective interest method, less any impairment losses for bad and doubtful debts.
2.5. Creditors
Short term creditors are measured at transaction price. Loans and other financial liabilities are initially recognised at transaction price net of any transaction costs and subsequently measured at amortised cost determined using the effective interest method.
2.6. Registrar Filing Requirements
The company has taken advantage of Companies Act 2006 section 444(1) and opted not to file the income and expenditure account, directors report, and notes to the financial statements relating to the income and expenditure account.
