The Company exists to provide a Club for sport and recreation facilities for the residents of Petworth Town and its surrounds, using the grounds and pavilion building in Petworth Park, West Sussex During the financial year the principal activities have been amateur cricket, football and petanque but additionally there are family-based soft-play activities particularly in the summer months.. Membership of the Club is available to all residents
The stakeholders are Petworth Town Council, Petworth Football Club and Petworth Park Cricket Club who each have seats on the Company Board. As such they are able to communicate their requirements direct to the Company. A long term plan for the whole sports facility has recently been drafted. Preparation of this required consultation with the above stakeholders and other local user groups, including the petanque club, Petworth Scouts, School and Youth Club
