Company activities and impact

The company has continued to provide communications, public relations and marketing services to a range of third sector and statutory organisations in the Scottish Borders and beyond. These have included producing newsletters, writing and distributing press releases, writing website content. We have also created, maintained and managed websites and social media channels. We became involved in administrating the Microsoft 365 accounts of some of our clients and training them to use the system themselves, thereby allowing savings on some of their IT support costs. We continued to offer an additional service, working in partnership with a range of organisations, to help people to develop their digital skills. We worked with a range of local businesses and organisations to complete a community competition to design a new, official flag for the county of Berwickshire. The competition was launched by Berwickshire Civic Society. We were responsible for all the marketing and public relations aspects of the competition and its results, including the website content and social media. Our services enable our community (third sector organisations in the Scottish Borders) to raise awareness of the work that they do within the sector and to the general public, and the services that they provide. We offer free one-off advice sessions to potential clients to help them identify their communications requirements and offer cost-effective solutions. Our activities enable organisations to raise their profile at an affordable cost. Over the past year we have worked with several new clients as well as long-standing ones.
